Possible Bri'onte Dunn Decommit

Submitted by MichiganMan2424 on

I was looking around and I found a thread on Bucknuts saying that not only has Dunn decomitted, but he's no longer consdering OSU. I haven't found anything else to confirm, but the guy seems to be a recruiting guru for OSU and he says that this is info from an OSU player's family. Can anyone confirm this, or verify who Dave Biddle is, the guys who created the thread?

until and unless he puts his signature on an LOI with a school other than OSU on Signing Day 2012.

Factual truth is not negative recruiting (OSU does indeed face potential problems with the NCAA, for example).

Lies and bullshit (LC has Parkinsons, for example) are negative recruiting.

According to Tom VH's most recent tweets he hasnt decommitted FWIW.

"Bri'onte Dunn's father told me that Bri'onte is still committed to Ohio State for now, and should be in Columbus Thursday or Friday"

Dunn likes to keep everything close, so who knows what could happen in the near future.

With the potential for Kalis and Wormley commits this weekend, it could be our best weekend for recruiting in history

I seen this coming a week ago with the first decommit from OSU Ejuan Price. All I can say  fans is Michigan may end up with the most Ohio prospects in the nation when its all said and done !!!!!!!   LOL :)  And I was thinking if they car pool they can make a pit stop here in my home town and grab Wormley!! GO BLUE!!

If Dunn does decommit, he can look forward to gems like these directed towards Kalis from OSU posters:

"If he commits to SCUM before the season, I would hope he blows out both of his knees."

"Since he is obviously being persuaded by Strobel (he is very annoying to me and he looks like a sissy) and Wormley, I believe he goes to Michigan."

That's a pretty rational and level-headed crew over there.

I don't know what Hoke is telling recruits, but if he is saying what Biddle claims he is, then that is not negative recruiting. Urban Meyer negative recruits. Nick Saban negative recruits. Blatently lying to kids and making up rumors is negative recruiting. Explaining the disadvantages of one school compared to your own is NOT.

Is negative recruiting telling a kid the truth? Or is negative recruiting telling a kid a lie and have him not be able to go to a bowl until year 3 or 4?

These buckeye slappies are hilarious. We don't need to use negative recruiting every media outlet is doing it for us, except it's all the truth and they brought all this on themselves and now they want people to feel sorry for them. I think it's pathetic.

Everyone chill, I'm not shocked by these recruits decommiting, listen, I live in columbus and deal with these pompous, unrealistic, big headed O lie O State fans, they are killin these two kids here, but what's even more typical is that they actually think the NCAA will not be hard on them, they think they'll still have a ten win season and actually servive this GOD sent ordeal, me I'm just walkin round Columbus with my block M shirt and loving every second of this magnificent ordeal...GBOD!!!!!! Gotta be careful though cause these bumbling buckeyes are on a witch hunt for anyone or anything Maize & Blue.

I went to high school with him and we are in a fantasy football league together. He is a writer for Bucknuts.com and is on some local AM sports radio shows in Dayton and Columbus
