Jesse Palmer said there's a chance that there are no SEC teams in the NCG based on these matchups. We'll see. I hate the SEC, I'd be rooting for whoever was taking on Georgia and Alabama regardless if Michigan was in or not.

Cincy's a good team and I have no problem with them being in the playoff, but it would be one of the biggest upsets in college football history if they managed to beat Alabama.

Agree, Cincy is a very good team and have some legit NFL talent but it's just hard to bet against Saban in these big games

Take the points. The only semi-good team Georgia beat this year was Clemson, and that game was 10-3. The one time they went up against an opponent their own size, they got punked.
Of course they could beat us by 9 or more, but I wouldn't give 50% or better odds on that. I was thinking the line would be pick 'em.

Overrated SEC again.....Bama has a hard time against athletic QB's, especially ones who can throw as well.
Georgia didn't really play anyone all year till Bama and they got exposed big time. If they played Clemson now, that game would look way different, they were fortunate to play them when they did.

Chris Fowler on ESPN was the only guy I heard so far who pointed out that he would give M #1 over Bama because Bama had way too many close games and had to take 4 OTs to win. Only one. Well, some validation. Let's go kick Dawg butt.

That's a crazy spread. Michigan has played some tough defenses this year and scored points. I don't see that stopping. Michigan 35-24 over Georgia.

If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. When OSU dismantled MSU, there were calls for them to be the number 1 ranked team. We demolished them. Alabama is going to be overlooking Cincinnati, which is something I feared we would do if we were playing them. This entire year seems like it's been 2 storylines. Cincinnati isn't as good as their ranking, and JH cannot win big games. What happened? Cinci is in the playoffs and we beat OSU. This is the game we want. Want to get recruits? Beat OSU. Beat Georgia. Corum will be back at 100% for the game, and that will be huge.
Edit: Also adding Alabama is out one of their top receivers. There looks to be a huge dropoff in stats for the next group of receivers, so there's going to be a different offensive dynamic to that team to begin with.

I'd disagree. Of the 4 teams in the playoff, Cinci is going to be the unanimous choice as the easiest. I don't want to go into a game thinking they're the easiest. Look at what Auburn did to them.

Honestly, I would take Cincy to cover.
Ridder is an absolute stud at QB and can off-set Young a little bit.
They'll be ready to go, and I still don't think Alabama is absolved of everything just for beating GA- they've been so scattered all season. Cincy's got a very dynamic offense.

Honestly, I think Georgia will be more beatable as a semi final than Cinci would be. Alabama is going to overlook Cinci, and I fear we would do the same given that position.

The one serious flaw in Georgia's offense is their passing. Stetson Bennett does not worry me in the least. Their leading WR is a TE- they are a pretty darn one-dimensional team. I know they have an elite defense, but Michigan's offensive play-calling has been so clever recently- get a few of those big plays and then GA's game is not suited for comebacks.

Agreed. It just seems so natural to complain that Michigan can't score since that's what it has been for the past few years, but we can score. Donovan Edwards is now a legitimate option that doesn't need to play just garbage time. Corum will be back 100%. Hassan is a beast. Roman Wilson plays with so much passion and hunger.
