I'm so sick of the politics of college football putting everything on a silver platter for the SEC.

They are probably the best conference.  But it is self-perpetuating because the playoff committee always gives them half of the playoff spots.

We need an expanded playoff, and we needed it yesterday.

I think there is no small amount of confirmation bias going on.  As the talking heads were saying, Georgia was always number 1 because they were always number 1.   Thus Alabama beating the #1 team means they are the #1 team again.  Well, the Georgia I saw last night was very beatable by Michigan, and the Alabama I saw all season long (save for last night) was beatable by Michigan.

Now I don't much care what Michigan is ranked so long as they're in the CFP, nor do I care about the point spreads, just saying that I don't think the spread is matching reality.  Moreover, as much as I think the Orange Bowl spread is backward, I think too much credit is being given to Cincinnati.

Love UM being an underdog. Love it. Let the fire kindle baby. These guys can do it.

get healthy and it feels like UM has some wildcards and a lot they can still unleash…including JJ.

Another reason to bet U of M is honestly, our players want this more.

Georgia is in disappointment mode, Bama feels it's their God-Given right to be national champions, Cincy, clearly wants it, but probably doesn't have the ammunition.

Our team seems legitimately determined, they have everything to prove and they know it. I don't care if it's a coaching cliche or not, this team does seem legitimately special, and their will to win is extremely high. Like say a prayer for the practice squad over the next month high.

Yea, I am putting a lot on Michigan getting 9 and then putting a lot on the money line.  Michigan is going to win.  If your not first your last.

538 has Georgia 62%-38% over Michigan, and Alabama 71%-29% over Cincinnati in the semifinals.

It has Georgia still the favorite to win the title at 38%, Alabama at 35%, Michigan at 18% and Cincinnati at 9%.

Depending on which of Sagarin's models you use, Michigan ranges from a 1.5 point favorite to a 7 point underdog vs Georgia
