I love Michigan and I love Nike gear because it's a much higher quality of material.
Dri-Fit kicks the ass of ClimaLite. All day.
It's a friggin' poly-blend tshirt. If it fits you better then that's great, but the rest is marketing mumbo-jumbo.
And that first shirt literally evokes a Nike bumper sticker slapped onto "Michigan". That's kind of insulting frankly.

Quite possibly the biggest (legit) rip-off in the history of mankind.
Unfortunately, as I get older I'm less likely to shell out the money they want for their stuff so I'll probably have to wait for the first Nike sale.

Not a Fan of many branded clothing lines. But, as a basketball player and fan I love the jumpman gear. The quality of jordan brand basketball wear is unmatched in terms of tech shirts and such so I cant wait till some of the basketball stuff comes out.
I wasn't expecting Nike to fuck up this bad

I don't know if they're just going for flair with the previews, but I certainly hope there ends up being some nice, plain, dri-fit MICHIGAN and "M" s with just a swoosh or a jumpman.

the Adidas stuff.
PUKE
The first one looks like some ugly early-90's shirt with too much going on. It looks like a bumper sticker or the world's largest name tag.
The second shirt is disqualified for me. I am not a Jordon fan, and will not be wearing anything with his "jumpman" image on it. From what I have seen, the jumpman is always as larger or larger than the block M. I just don't get why anyone would want a UNC player who played for the Bulls to have equal billing with the entire Unversity of Michigan, much less put it on a shirt and wear it. I just hope the logo on the jerseys isn't huge.

Well, if you grew up a Bulls fan in the 90s and then went to Michigan like I did, this is, at least theoretically, totally awesome. (Though I agree these two shirts are pretty crappy.)
I knew a more than a few people from Chicago when I went to U of M. (I see your humble brag with one of my own.) I am sure they love this too. But how many of you can there be?
It is also just, well, odd. I am a Detroit sports fan. It would still feel odd to have a Barry Sanders logo (if he had branded himself like Jordon did) on Michigan Football gear. Or for that matter, the Tiger Woods logo that Nike uses on golf stuff. (Different sport, different college, albeit more "personal" issues.)
But, it's all good. I know I am yelling at the wind on this one, and Nike clearly thinks more people love it than don't. I expect that their marketing team will be right on this. So, enjoy your new gear!

I have reached the point where I don't wear jerseys. There are a few Michigan Nike shirts that don't have Jordon on them. I'll just hope that some of that small subset won't look like shit. I always have Champion sweatshirts from Moe's to fall back on. (At least I hope they still sell those.)
Again I say, an apparel company shirt is an apparel company shirt is an apparel company shirt. Only difference is in 2016, the people in the design departments at all of 'em seem to have completely bizarro senses of design.
What a difference.Such an improvement over addidas... i think... i'm not sure...

Those the 8/6 ones?
Nice to see less circle jerking, and more objective criticism this time.
though it is no worse than what we used last year. This whole "maize crusade" has turned us into West Virginia.
I would love to see some nice adaptations of the other Nike school designs like this one:
