Might as well have a repository for takes on this game.

OSU is going to win the natty, aren’t they?

Pummel OSU in the shoe, win the Big Ten….

….. only to have them luck their way into the playoff and end up winning it all lmao.

Congrats to OSU on their national title. A pretty pathetic championship all things considered, but it still counts the same.

I literally don't know what this means. You would have rather lost to Ohio State so we don't make the playoffs? And ... even so ... you think K State fans are thinking, "well, at least we didn't make the playoffs"!?

Please. Losing sucks. It always hurts, if you care. But this was an awesome year, and wishing we hadn't made the playoffs seems ... bizarre. If you want, we can go back to the Rich Rod years. At least we didn't lose a really close game in the playoffs those years! Wasn't that better?

If OSU wins today?

This is a separate category from “low point of the program” or something like that. This is, purely, a categorization of a single day.

I’ve been through some great Michigan sports days and some terrible ones.

This would absolutely be on the list. Probably on top. We don’t even have a vocabulary to describe the level of awful if OSU were to go win the national title after this season, after the soul-crushing game we just lost.

We beat them. Not invalidated. But it wasn't today, and if they get the national title... that's a bitter, bitter pill to swallow.

I don't know what to tell people if the thought of OSU winning a national title that we had every shot of winning (and Georgia clearly looks beatable and we clearly have the tools to have won the game today) doesn't repulse every sports fan fiber in their body.

UGA has a lot of pressure to win this game, much like Michigan winning their game. The underdogs have nothing to lose and ends up winning.. OSU offense is built to destroy TCU defense. I'm afraid we will have to watch OSU win a national championship!

Terrible take. The worst NFL teams this year, even the Texans, would boat race even the best college teams

I think you grossly underestimate what pro teams have. Even the worst pro teams are full of guys who were huge talents in college. Their games didn’t necessarily translate to the pros, but they’d would absolutely dominate the best college teams.

You are correct that a NFL team would boat race these guys but I just read there are 16 projected first rounders in the next two drafts in this game.  Without having Alabama playing, this is just about the most NFL talent you can get on the field in a college football game.

I think we need a "TCU Snowflakes: The Fans" thread. I love this blog on every day but game day. No offense to the OP, I have no issue with this post.
