OT: Thursday NFL Thread

Giants at Eagles tonight, a battle of bad teams. But they have plenty of company this season.

The Cowboys, who got their asses handed to them by the Cardinals on MNF, are 2-4 ... and they're currently in
sole possession of 1st place in the NFC Least!

Ten teams have less than 2 wins, which has never happened before this far into the season since the merger:

Eagles (1-4-1)
Bengals (1-4-1)
Chargers (1-4)
Giants (1-5)
WFT (1-5)
Texans (1-5)
Jaguars (1-5)
Falcons (1-5)
Vikings (1-5)
Jets (0-6)

Way to go. Your mamas must be so proud.

And surprisingly, the Lions are not on this list. Or perhaps it's not surprising that they can't even tank properly.

Of course the Lions play these teams 6 times and will go 8-8, the idiot Ford's will posture that Pillsbury is making progress and retain him all the while claiming a 20 something pick in the NFL draft because of their stellar .500 record.

It’s entirely possible that the winner of this division ends up with a 6-10 record and ends up hosting an 11-5 NFC West team.

Seems like at least once every 2-3 years the winner of the NFC East can’t do any better than 8-8 or 9-7.

Somehow Daniel Jones, clumsy lumbering 6'5" QB, nearly matched Saquan Barkley's top speed. Oh and somehow managed to fall in the open field while having a walk in 80yd TD run. That was uh, that was something.

NFL is a clown show. They actually go for it on 4th and goal like they should, then throw a fade. A FADE! The lowest percentage passing play there is! So they use analytics one second and then completely throw them out the window the next?  ???

Lions will finish 6-10 or 7-9 as long as Stafford remains healthy. Bad enough to miss the playoff but good enough to miss out on a high draft pick and may be good enough to keep this coach going for one more season.
