OT: Tebow to the Eagles
April 19th, 2015 at 11:01 PM ^
It's like they're hoarding the worst QB's in recent history.
April 19th, 2015 at 11:18 PM ^
More like Draft busts, remember when Matt Barkley was sure to win the Hiesman and become a franchise QB?

...play by the MSM to revive listener numbers for Philly sports talk radio.
April 20th, 2015 at 12:43 AM ^
I don't wanna talk about it...
In Chip we trust....
:(
April 20th, 2015 at 10:27 AM ^
On the one hand, I told another Eagles fan over the weekend that, if we sign Tebow, I give up.
On the other hand, it's veteran's minimum.
Still though......Tebow?
...and they have a 3rd (Geno Smith) in the top 5 as well. That may have something to do with it.
Sad Chad Henne is on that list :-(

I remember seeing EaglesGenius' comment on the article at SBNation, but fortunately it was captured in this tweet, at the bottom of this image:

Nice ... He's like Johnny Manziel except not high on drugs. As a Browns fan this saddens me
April 20th, 2015 at 12:02 AM ^
Manziel probably has more talent, he's just a substance abusing idiot. I doubt either of them will ever be successful, but probably for different reasons.
April 20th, 2015 at 11:00 AM ^
It's my dream to see that idiot get the Jim Rome treatment one day. Maybe have Mike Tyson be a guest on First Take and just beat the hell out of Bayliss and SAS. Would be a great day for America
April 20th, 2015 at 11:33 AM ^
I'd pay money if it was LeBron.
April 19th, 2015 at 11:19 PM ^
Glad Tim continued to pursue his dreams. Good for him

...relieved that those dreams don't seem to include color commentating for the 2015-16 college season.

chip putting together the all 2000s college qb fantasy team
April 19th, 2015 at 11:38 PM ^
I guarantee he signs Vince Young before the season starts.
WOTS is that he just contacted the agent for Jason White.
April 20th, 2015 at 12:36 PM ^
Lack of "/s" gave me momentary hope that this was true, and my heart filled with song because I do hate the Eagles and that would have been hilarious.
Then I realized that the "/s" wasn't necessary. And the song in my heart died.
they might as well take a look at Jamarcus Russell too.
April 19th, 2015 at 11:25 PM ^
Excellent: I'm a Giant fan, so I'm loving this. NFL! Keep sending your glass-kneed, rag-armed quarterback dregs to Philly!
April 19th, 2015 at 11:56 PM ^
Sanchez, Bradford, and Tebow on the roster, three of the worst starting QBs in recent NFL history.
April 19th, 2015 at 11:32 PM ^
Tebow seems like a pretty chill guy. His rendition of "Take It Easy" should be soulful.
I'm not sure how he'll handle the satanism references in "Hotel California", though/
7 women on his mind? Pretty sure that goes against his beliefs
to point out references to polygamy in Tebow's presumed sacred text of choice.
No Religion.
He's not Mormon, he's an evangelical Christian.
2 Samuel 12:8.
1 Kings 11:3.
April 20th, 2015 at 12:03 AM ^
That Diabolical Genius...Kelly's putting Tebow's legs on Bradford's body and using Sanchez'...ahhh crap. Forget about it.
April 20th, 2015 at 12:49 AM ^
Bradford's arm on Tebow's body with Sanchez's...
OK I tried, I give up. You win
At least Bradford has an arm and Tebow can run. Sanchez literally has nothing going for him.
Pretty hair
Amen, that hair....
a SouthPark episode?
No wait, I think four asses were involved.
April 20th, 2015 at 12:07 AM ^
In my sole opinion, he'll never see the light of day as an NFL QB again, but Kelly can undoubtedly find some ways to be creative and get him involved in the offense. Whether or not he can throw, he's a wrecking ball who's tough to bring down.
Either way, the guy is going out and living his dream. Best of luck to him.

trickery maybe?
that catches passes out of the backfield and runs in short yardage situations, he might be a very thrifty pickup.
Let him think he's gonna be a QB. He learns all the plays. Then when a FB or TE goes down, you ask Tebow if he could "fill in".
Not bad if they got him for the minimum.
April 20th, 2015 at 12:19 AM ^
He's the most athletically gifted QB on the roster. His passing leaves a lot to be desired but the guy's a winner. And who knows? Maybe the time away from football has loosened his stubbornness to play other positions. I'm not one of those people who detest him. I want him to succeed in football because, if nothing else, he's actually a good guy.
Who cares? I don't understand why he is a media sensation, he's a backup / 3rd string QB. One of the reasons I never watch ESPN is bc anytime Tebow is relevant they make it a fucking year long story. Hope chip and the eagles are ready for 8 billion Tebow questions every week til he's released. What a fuckin joke.
your life would be better for it.
I'm not a Tebow fan but I do think he has always been unjustly labeled and never given to much of a chance. I do believe his faith has had slit to do with it. He's not a great QB at all. But I would rather have him then some of these idiots that keep hanging on and beating there wife and killing people!!! JMO
I gotta give you props for that many spelling/grammatical errors in just that little bit of writing.

How lame can you possibly get?
Almost as lame as still using the term lame...
Sent from MGoBlog HD for iPhone & iPad
you must be new...it gets worse
What was he unjustly labeled as? It helps to complete your thoughts. He's been given many more chances than a mediocre inaccurate QB rightly deserves. He is too stubborn to take any advice to switch positions and is adamant that he is a QB. That is why he can't find a job in the NFL.
He was unjustly labeled an NFL QB.

Yet another media frenzy ensues. I've never understood why people care so much about this guy's football career. Maybe he'll succeed this time.
Dude has more playoff wins than that bum Stafford. Given an opportunity with Chip, he'll find a way to get it done
April 20th, 2015 at 11:53 AM ^
Somehow I suspect Stafford would have won a few playoff games by now if he played in Denver...
