Go Packers! Packs win, Lions lose! Bring back Packers next week, then adios Lions!

This is classic lions. Are you surprised?

this year. The Pack are in dire straits with a game @ Dallas, Pittsbrugh at home, and a game @Bears. The Lions own the tiebreaker because they have a better in division record.
Both are a pile of steaming crap so it really doesn't matter.

Packers have a tie on their record, so there is no way the packers finish with the same record as the lions.

One measley TD.

Speaking of white corners...I would take one over Houston/Mathis at this point.

Does that include Al Borges?

The Lolcats just find ways to lose.

...you just saw what I was talking about. The conditions favored the offense. In these icy conditions, the defense can't adjust once the offensive player makes a cut.The fact that the Lions offense couldn't take advantage is what people should be upset about, not that the defense folded.
December 8th, 2013 at 4:26 PM ^
That was an absolutely silly game. This team feels like a .500 squad, which is probably good enough to win this crap division.

Lions looked a dome team today - they weren't up for that weather mentally - Eagles were.
December 8th, 2013 at 4:32 PM ^
It's dumb as hell that the lions play in a dome when their division rivals chicago and green bay play outside. No wonder they haven't won in GB in my lifetime.
December 8th, 2013 at 4:37 PM ^
It's always going to hurt them late in the season when they have to go on the road. It didn't help that they weren't coached well for this.
I'm actually a Giants fan but like the Lions from my time at UM - this will continue to be an issue for them.
December 8th, 2013 at 5:55 PM ^
WIth very few exceptions, dome teams are soft on the road in bad late-season weather. That doesn't automatically kill you if you win your early season road games in good weather and dominate at home so that you get some home-field advantage in the playoffs.
But then we're talking about the Lions here.
December 8th, 2013 at 5:11 PM ^
in the game. This was a complete and utter collapse by the defense. Gunther Cunningham is the worst fucking DC in the NFL. His defenses have been prone to giving up big plays ever since he has been here.

With Gronk going out, I wondered if the Pats could come back, but it's the Browns, so I shouldn't have. 27-26 Pats.

coming soon to a theater near you .
December 8th, 2013 at 5:27 PM ^
I be the Lions lose at home to the Ravens, they may beat the Giants at home but then lose the final game on the road to the Vikings.
I see them finishing 7-9 and Green bay winning the division at 8-7-1.
Schwartz is not a great coach and probably will get canned at the end of the season. I'm not sure who will coach the Lion's? It is the grave yard for NFL coaches.
December 8th, 2013 at 5:37 PM ^
Their defense has no way of stopping Bush and Johnson and the game is in a dome.
However, I can see them losing to the Ravens and Giants.

Damn, they say it's Gronk's ACL.
