OT: How are you spending 2015's week off?

Submitted by UMFanInFlorida on

It's always interesting to how this MGoCommunity spends a non-UM football fall saturday..

Me, I'm building a toy chest for our 8 month old son.  Just drafted the plans and off to HD to get the lumber and supplies.  He's already a Michigan Fan, so don't be suprised if there are some maize and blue accents when all is said and done.

reluctantly going into Manhattan to spend part of the day. Otherwise, not watching the rest of this garbage Clemson/Miami game, hoping to see good news out of EL from 3:30-7, and then getting drunk and dancing like an ass in front of co-workers in Brooklyn. Yeah, it's a pretty sad day when Michigan ain't playing football.

At the WMU game. May give up my Michigan season tickets and get WMU season tickets next year.

Getting out of Chicago, spent the day hiking at Starved Rock State Park, about to take a winery tour and spend the evening with the girlfriend and some relaxation

where we are celebrating the finalization of a dear friend's long, bitter divorce ... the ex's name is banished from conversation and the mood will be joyful. And many beers will die fulfilling their noble duty. Happy Saturday, friends!

I wrote the latter half of an article Friday and Saturday (hooray full draft of a new paper!) and Sunday is my birthday so I'm doing stuff with the family. I have a 2 year old, so I asked my wife to make us a baking soda volcano and a pop bottle vortex. Might try a new restaurant for lunch or dinner. Might even get subs!

I was out of town at a conference, didn't have time for much of anything. Hell, I almost forgot it was Saturday until I walked into the airport terminal this afternoon and saw games on the TVs in the bar.

I needed to check out. Not sure if I'm ready to check back in, though.
