Not the best UM QB ever, but my favorite.

Former walk-on, works his way into playing time, makes a bad decision and gets booted off the team, works his way back onto the team, wins the starting position, leads UM to an unbeaten season and their 1st Nat'l title in 50 years.

Oh, and beat OSU three times. How many UM QB's can say that??

Henson easily. Loved them all, but Henson was from my high school and was the most talented of all of them. I was just crushed when he gave up football. People forget, but that may have been the best Michigan offense I've ever seen. Too bad about the defense that year or who knows.

will say Drew or J.H. or even Tom Brady. I think Todd threw the best ball and every time he dropped back I thought the pass would be completed, but I have to go with the best producer. That is, of course, Dennis Franklin. Thinking he only lost like 2, maybe 3 games in his career.

Harbaugh was my favorite.

Was undeafeated as starting QB against the three rivals (MSU, OSU, ND)  I did not count the 84 MSU game, because had he not broke his arm in that game they would have won.  Lots of good memories of watching him play in the mid 80's.

JH was the QB when I was a student in A2 watching Michigan football and becoming a life-long addict.

As you can imagine, I was kinda psyched when Harbs was hired as HC.

That was a good day.

While watching starting QB Jim Harbaugh, we also had some fun watching his primary back-up, Chris Zurbrugg, who was a pretty darn good QB (but not compared to JH).

"Zurbrugg for Heisman" was a common student chant when he came in for mop-up duty.

But I would say my top 3 are....

Grbac
Griese
Denard

I just can't help but think how our offense would of been if RR was the coach for his whole tenure here at Michigan! Untouchable records and a Heisman
