OT: Favorite Fight Scene
Dear board,
What is your favorite movie fight scene?
A battle between a T-800 and T-1000? Neo vs Agent Smith? The entirety of John Wick?
Embedded below is when I exact my revenge on Dr Charles Nichols. He got me with a couple good shots, namely a chair to the back, but he really missed some golden opportunities to do more damage but instead opted for a shoving match.
I then turned the tables and kicked his ass down a flight of stairs and KO'd him down an elevator shaft.

Damn
If you have never seen it, the sword duel at the end of Rob Roy is just great.
Kiss of the dragon.
The scene where he enters a room that just happens to be a dojo

There were some absolutely amazing fight scenes in Hannah - my favorite is her escape/abort scene.

Not exactly from a movie, but the show was better than one....best fights:
1. Tony vs. Ralphie in season 4 of The Sopranos.
2. Tony vs. Bobby in season 6 of The Sopranos.
The Sopranos is the best television series of all time and nothing will ever be better...not ever. Just finished watching it a 2nd time this summer. Watch it if you haven't already and if you've watched it, watch it again. It might be the only series that is watchable over and over...just overall amazing in every way.
not the best, but a few probably have missed this gem of a movie.
Hector vs Achilles in Troy. I actually think that movie as a whole is quite underrated. The lead up to the fight is great also with Achilles' monologue.

Just about any scene from 13 Assassins is up there. As others have said, Hit Girl from Kick Ass, Old Boy, and Jason Borne fights are up there. First IP Man was great too.
To be meta, the element that make a fight good are:
1. Something at stake. (Good vs. Evil)
2. Your hero has a very particular set of skills and is otherwise a bad ass.
3. The odds are against your hero despite being a bad ass. They are blinded, outnumbered or otherwise at a disadvantage. This allows them to be at the peak of matching their skill to the challenge. The arc of the movie ups the boss fights so that the stress keeps amping up and we experience the flow of our hero matching the challenges.

Or the fight between Al and Bulloch at the start of Season 2.

absolute knock down, drag out.......a great fight scene, and the best "girl on girl" fight on film.

Hector vs Achilles (Troy)
The Ride of the Rohirrim (ROTK) continues gives me chills even 10+ years after the movie is made.
The Viper vs. The Mountain (GoT)
Rocky vs. Drago - He's not a machine!! He's a man!!
Dale vs. Brennan (StepBrothers)
Harrison Ford vs. All the Terrorists (Air Force One)

Yoda vs. Dooku
Mexican standoff in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Too many to list:
Oldboy: The side hall camera fight.
Last Samurai: Algren in the streets. It happens so fast, they replay the whole fight in slo-mo. Completely bad ass.
But I think my all time favorite is Brotherhood of the Wolf. Manny's fight scene in the rain. I struggle to find one better.
This is from Riki-Oh. The whole movie is pretty awesome. I would recommend it.
Sean Penn at the end of Bad Boys or the Soda Pop can scene.
Bruce Lee when he fought and destroyed Chuck Norris in "Return Of The Dragon".
Donnie Yen as Ip Man when he fought the 10 Karate students in the dojo.
