I had several Muslims earnestly with me a Merry Christmas or Happy Easter, and they were not offended when I did likewise. So I graciously accept your kind hope for my joy, and return it!

To be honest, I clicked thinking some recruit named Ed Mubarak was visiting or something. Thanks for making me slightly less ignorant. Hope all observing the holiday have a wonderful day.

I saw Ed Muransky get into a kerfuffle at Rick's in th early 80's.  He cleaned out 8 to 10 frat boys in probably 10 seconds. I think he made a move on somebody's date, not 100% sure.  There were dudes laying on the steps, another guy wearing a couple pitchers of beer, someone went over the bar.   Then Rick Novak ushering Ed out before A2's finest showed up.

It was intense to say the least.

...what's his 40 time and offer list?

For reals though, I have a lot of Muslim coworkers so I already knew about this.  My coworkers are generally all cool and while the fast isn't something I could hack, it's normal for them since they've been doing it all their life.  In fact the office is kinda slow today since, most of them took today as a vacation day and they're all chowing down on some bomb-ass Middle Eastern food right now.

(Also, the best part about my awesomely diverse workplace - more sausage pizza for me!)

Several years ago, I was working in a company that had a fair number of Muslim employees. One day, there was a large amount of Middle Eastern baked goods in the office kitchen (help yourself, everyone!) I didn't know what it was for, or even what a lot of it was (except for the baklava.)

A young Muslim woman from another department took the opportunity to tell me about the end of Ramadan, that these goodies were leftovers ftom the feasting, and explained what the goodies were. It was no big deal - just a pleasant moment between two co-workers of different cultures over some really good eats.

I didn't remember what the end of Ramadan was called, so it's nice to learn it again. And to that young lady and everyone like her:

Eid Mubarak, y'all.

Really appreciate the sentiment on the board.
And since we're sharing info, Eid al-Adha is more commonly the holier holiday for Muslims, so today is like Christmas while Easter and al-Adha are tops for their respective peoples.
