OT: Braylon comes up big for the Jets

Submitted by oriental andrew on
Braylon just came up HUGE in the last drive for the Jets, who just knocked off the Colts. Caught a 9 1/2 yard pass, fumbled, and recovered. On the last play before the game-winning FG, Braylon skied to make a great grab on the sideline, getting both feet down and landing in-bounds to basically give the Jets a chip-shot FG. Glad to see him come through in the clutch.

bet he's really looking forward to going to boston now that he ran his mouth about tom brady this week combined with the fact his ass is still sore from having the collective feet of the entire new england franchise shoved directly into it the last time they played. good luck rex and keep an enema shaped icepack ready.

a punter or kicker acting/faking getting hit become a penalty.  The Colt player clearly tried to pull up and even tried to hold onto the punter but he fell to the ground and got the penalty.  You get a technical foul in basketball for faking a charge.  This needs to get adopted by the NFL.

Glad to hear it, and Braylon Edwards is still not off-topic, just like all other former players.  I'd rather talk about him than join the "I heard this unsourced rumor that x guy might want to be our coach" threads.

On a side note, Blair White choked for the Colts again. He was slightly out of position on that 3rd and long, dropped the pass, and got yelled at by Manning again. The Colts had to settle for a FG

Looked like GERG was coaching them up the last drive. 3rd and 5 and need a quick out? Ah, 10 yard cushion and retreating, have a few more Jet WR's!

I dislike the Jets.
