OT: Best Car Cruising Songs
Since we broke the 70 degree mark yesterday .............. it only seems appropiate.
Love heavy beats that make you want to thump your hand on the car top while cruising.
My all-time favorite is "Takin' Care of Business" by Bachman Turner Overdrive!

Yep, I know I'm the only one who'll say it. For me and my boy, that song got us through a lot in college, including a snowy night driving from Ann Arbor to the Palace just to watch the Loy Vaught-led Pistons play the nobody-led Cleveland Cavaliers.
From Bill Walsh College Football to road trips to the nearest 7-Eleven, Love is a Battlefield got us through it.

Every summer when I drive to the beach, I make the whole family listen to New Miserable Experience while I'm driving.
They hated it at first because it was not the Dixie Chicks (wife) or Katy Perry (daughter) or complete silence (son).
But now they're at peace with it and like a lot of the songs.
Great choice. I mentioned Deluxe by Better Than Ezra in the other thread about albums, as one of my top favorites, and New Miserable Experience is very similar in feel. Allison Road is especially good.
Right now I have been all about Smooth Sailing by Leon Bridges (or really any of his songs).
But as all-time driving music, I am not sure I have ever enjoyed listening to anything loudly and with the windows down moreso than the AWB album by Average White Band.

It's the only way to feel cool while driving a Chevy HHR.
