Yankees benched both A-Rod and Swisher. Still can't hit elite pitching.
And Berry just got a base hit. This series is so stacked in favor of Detroit. The Yankees are really struggling

This is one of many reasons why there is a limit. You don't need to travel around the board like a fucking neckbeard posting this in every thread.

Posting the same exact thing in multiple threads is extremely obnoxious.
He posted the same thing in three different threads in a span of about 5 minutes. The topic was still on the board. If someone doesn't tell him off, he'll continue to do it.

This is when the old voting system would be beneficial.

"Yankees go in order against Verlander in the 1st. It wasn't a total loss, A-Rod got 2 phone numbers from the bench"

So, is the strategy now to save Alex Rodriguez for when the Yankees need a clutch groundout?
Also, nice catch, other Alex!

Nice to join you all for another Tigers ALCS game 3.
A-Rod gets benched and immediately starts looking for tail.
A little chit, a little chat, some of this, some of that, it started with a strike-out, now they're rounding third base headed for the sweet sweet nectar of home.
It's all in the game of love.

JV looks untouchable so far.

33 pitches through 3 innings. The Tigers bullpen may as well start drinking now.

Never know. Valverde might pitch better when he's hammered.
October 16th, 2012 at 8:56 PM ^
Cabrera has had some great swings already. He might finally put one out today.
October 16th, 2012 at 8:58 PM ^
This is a good problem for a team to have, when they sort of tiptoe around Miguel Cabrera and have to pitch to Prince Fielder. As a Tigers fan, I could get used to that.

3 or 4? We have been making very good contact though. I think we will put some runs up today.

Completely agree....I've always wished baseball players were a little freer-swinging on 3-0. In this case Prince knows he's either going to get a meatball or a dirtball and nothing in between.

Verlander has brought his A game tonight and the offense seems like it's just about ready to ignite. I think it's only a matter of time before this one gets out of hand.
October 16th, 2012 at 9:09 PM ^
How bad is it that if Verlander gives up a hit during a start I'm disappointed?
October 16th, 2012 at 9:11 PM ^
Sounds like a good thing to me.
October 16th, 2012 at 9:46 PM ^
I think about a perfecto every time he pitches. I get texts from ESPN with Tigers scores every 3 innings. If JV's pitching and the opposition has 0 runs, I always assume he's got one going ha. He's on fire tonight.

At the rate that the Yankees have generally be apt to score in this series, they may very well tie it up in the 14th inning....oh, wait...

Hope Hughes is okay, didn't mean to send any bad juju his way with my prediction of him being out by the 6th..
