Luge and bobsled are the greatest racing sports ever in the history of man.

I stayed awake this morning just to watch the Luge.

Does anyone else find it odd that with the Olympics being in Russia that the Russian figure skaters would perform to music sung in English?

It would be easy enough to have it dubbed into Russian. Maybe on Russian TV it is in Russian.

The French skaters also performed to English versions.

English-language music is popular all over Europe.  The skaters and their coaches may figure that it's good to choose a song that the judges/crowd are familiar with - or they might just like that particular song.

But really, it's the music, not the lyrics, that matters.

SIAP... but when it comes to hotties at Sochi, the Russkies got us all covered -- not only are they hot, but they have no compunction about undressing them for the camera.

These are just a few of the available pictures (SFW, unfortunately).

Man NBC coverage sucks. They just had the medal ceremony for women's moguls and I guess the American tv market would rather watch a man behind a desk and commercials than to see a bronze. Maybe it was only bc they can't stand having the Canadian national anthem (as two of those sisters claimed the gold and silver) blaring over the air.
