I will admit. I don't have the eye to judge them. But just watching them, eye test. They are great. And I really have never even watched figure skating.

That 15 yr old Russian looked great in Ladies as well.

Amazing they just set a high score in free- and they no doubt have more set aside for the individual competition

  • This is the format we had in mind.
  • One of the ladies (or men with an appreciation for it) is going to make this thread one morning and things will get real awkward up in here, which will cause me to chuckle several times at least.

Womans speed skating finals on NBC currently. We have a person in 10th and 24th place. Don't think we have ever been great on the womans side have we?

from Champaign, IL. IIRC, she was Gold (Jerry) in two Olympics awhile back.

There is a commercial running with a little girl who makes a sign for her WI town. Her mom is a skater; the advertiser thinks she is good enough to run this spot.

Would have more info, but I'm on my phone.

I'm probably behind on this but I just watched the Downhill Men's during primetime. Bodie Miller started great but fell behind and off the podium. Bummer, was hoping he'd snag the gold.
