LSU definitely not their typical defensive juggernaut status.  Dline and secondary are downgrades from the past decade. Could also be an issue of shitty.Cajun Hoke coaching.

San Diego State is looking beyond horrible thus far.  They are also making a whole bunch of cheap shots, back-to-back late hit personal fouls while on offense

They're playing NMSU, so, they'll probably still rally and win, but yeesh.

Not helpful that they are playing their home games this year in Los Angeles County (Carson).  Attendance looks like it's in the low 4 figures.

I think Coach Ed is about to be the first HC to win a NC  and then get fired only 3-4 years later. LSU is not going to put up with their defense being atrocious multiple years in a row.

ALL DA LULZ!

This LSU defense is not a vintage LSU defense.

Can you believe Ed Orgeron didn't think Dave Aranda was that great of a DC simply because Aranda played his version of a 3-4? (Ed O is a 4-3 guy.)

Ed Orgeron believed LSU's defense would get better by hiring Bo Pelini to run a 4-3. LSU and Ed O got a rude awakening when it had the worst defense in school history without Aranda as DC.

Ed "Cajun Hoke" Orgeron lucked into one of the greatest combinations of NFL talent + coaching in modern college football history.

Joe Brady transformed the offense into an absolute juggernaut. But without him there, LSU looks like a 1 year wonder.

Things are getting weird in Pullman. Utah State up 5-3 on Washington State, but USU just had an inexplicable fumble and turnover. WSU already on their second QB. And Bob Davie is on the call, like it's ESPN c. 1998.
