You're entitled to your opinion. I'm opting to tell you to sit this one out. Go Fighting Rich Rods. If somehow we do meet in a bowl this year I definitely will root for Michigan no question. If Arizona is not playing Michigan hope they win. Especially against SC.

ESPN.com actually has "Upset Alert: #3 Ole Miss 21 #14 Texas A&M 0 Halftime" running across their page right now...

Where is Inigo Montoya when you need him?

I wish RR well.  The idea of combining his offensive genius with Michigan level athletes sounds like a win win.  Alas...

RR era should never be fully discounted as he did gift us Denard.

Wasn't Neal a serious contender to come to Michigan in RRs days here? Or am I thinking of a million other slot ninjas??

Can I also say I love that Sumlin is getting exposed.  Dude doesnt give a damn about defense and eventually that catches up to you.   He had defense #109 in the entire country last year - with top 20 ranked classes.  A joke.  Hopefully it kills some of the "I want Sumlin" crap - he is basically Rich Rod with a Heisman QB the previous 2 years.

My issue was no major wins in 5 years there.  So he has turned that around, so kudos to him.  Dont see him coming here - people think you cant "keep it up" but you can - he has a system there and I dont see why he'd leave for here.  If he goes I see it to UF.  But if he was say in the SEC East which is more reasonable than the SEC West I could see him staying at Miss State and just winning there.  Its not like the old days when only 10 schools can win big and over time.

I'm glad they are being exposed to.  They are a product of the SEC hype machine.  They beat a shitty South Carolina team the first day of the season and vaulted to the 6th spot in the top 25.  They haven't beaten a good team in 2 years.  Even last year the only team with a pulse that they beat was Duke in their bowl game.
