Night games bring out the best in our crowd

5-1 in home night games now, and even last year in the bad offensive showjng the crowd was awesome. I may be slightly drunk still, but just saying. Being at the games it's like night and day (haha). Very loud and very into it. Please make Penn State one too.

Also the music guy deserves a raise for playing jump around at the end.

Random Loudest BigHouse Memory:   Four of us seated about 5-6 rows up from the bottom at the 2002 UM v Wash game on the UM sideline.   One of Washington’s last possessions went to 3rd and long and our side of the stadium started roaring and down where we were you could actually feel the power of the noise at our backs and it was sustained.  When Washington was forced to punt, the typically low key Lloyd turned around smiling and gave the stands a thumbs up.  We all looked at each other and said WOW did that really just happen?   When Brabbs hit the last second fg, we made our way left to the railing where me and my buddy ended up getting into a group hug sandwich with Shante Orr who had leapt up to us and about five random people around us as we chanted how great it was to be a Michigan Wolverine.

If you weren’t there of course it was quiet!  But in my section we were loud as loud could get!  Like when they put on the Jumbotron in the third quarter,”Wisconsin would like to ask a favor from the Michigan fans, please be quiet!”  Trust me we were extremely loud and this night was not only a success.  It was electric.  GREAT WIN AND GO BLUE!

We should play as many home night games as we can, if for no other reason that we really seem to struggle in them on the road.  Maybe playing more of them at home will help, who knows.  If we ever make a NCG, that thing ain’t kicking off at noon EST.

The great crowd started this morning, with the GameDay crowd.  The Big House looked beautiful!  Yeah, lets do these night games more often!

And yeah, playing Jump Around was a first class troll...

I saw an ND fan on twitter claim that they “manhandled” Michigan.

OSU fans may have met their match in ignorance

Edit: I saw a post today where an OSU fan essentially said urban Meyer was a comparable moral equivalent to Jesus Christ.

I'm glad ND isn't in a conference. I don't have to watch their games or care about them at all. They aren't playing for anything. USC up on Colorado. USC has the talent. They looked awful in the loss to Texas but hopefully they can improve and beat ND at home

My dad-in-law is a very quiet retired professional gentleman who rarely criticizes or gets animated about anything.  I caught his other side the very first time I discussed ND football with him.  He unleashed his apparent deep seated disgust with ND and how they in essence  “don’t have the balls to join a conference so they don’t have to play anyone of consequence unless they g-d damned feel like it.  Screw those guys.”   It was then that I realized I had married right....well, that and uh, the wife, of course.

God, all your comments are just awful...

Edit: Yup, this is going in the moderation action thread. Hopefully a trip to Bolivia mellows you out.

My section was standing all night, for which I was grateful. They definitely got louder in the second half.  I would welcome more noise from start to finish, but wow, was a great atmosphere late into the game.

One of the better crowds I’ve been a part of in the stadium.  No one complaining about standing, everybody yelling in our section, and huge celebrations for positive plays.  I got home a bit ago to a few of my OSU buddies saying that it looked like our stadium was rocking.  It took a lot for them to say that unprompted.

This made night game #4 for me. Nothing compares to the crowd of the first one, however, tonight was a really strong effort. Almost everyone I could see was standing the majority of the game. Lots of first time Badger fans around me, and they were incredibly impressed.

My section is 23, the pinnacle of old shits who throw temper tantrums when someone stands up or cheers loudly. We stood the entire game. Really awesome experience.

Night games force the blue hairs to stay home.  Past their bedtime.  The crowd who shows up is more loud and energetic.  It showed on tv.

Night games are awesome. All day tailgating is great because instead of going 5-0 playing bags I go 10-0. Also the game looks awesome at night and we win! Beat State

Amazing night and the environment was some of the best you can get out of Michigan Stadium.

I’m still on Team Noon Games, but now for a different reason - I think that the home night games should be a one every two year thing to keep the novelty and electrifying effect of it alive.

Let’s not get too used to and spoiled by this kind of game, kind of like how outdoor hockey went from awesome to irrelevent. Let’s keep night games in AA awesome.

Truly incredible. As a young alumni, that was my first game not in the student section and we still stood almost the entire time. Amazing.

Props to everyone there and an amazing team on an amazing performance.

GO BLUE, BEAT STATE!
