Nick Saban has contracted COVID-19
October 14th, 2020 at 5:53 PM ^
Noooooooo way! He was so careful!!!
October 14th, 2020 at 5:55 PM ^
"Keep it civil, please."
I mean... OP didn't even need to be posted here.
Let the civil unrest begin.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:08 PM ^
It's almost like some sort of Civil War..
October 14th, 2020 at 6:23 PM ^
What's so civil about war anyway?
October 14th, 2020 at 6:45 PM ^
? "I don't need your civil war!!" ?
October 14th, 2020 at 7:09 PM ^
Is that like the Civil Conflict?
October 14th, 2020 at 5:55 PM ^
Is this what finally topples the Alabama dynasty?
(/s I obviously hope he makes a full and quick recovery)
October 14th, 2020 at 6:12 PM ^
I believe their AD also tested positive
October 14th, 2020 at 7:33 PM ^
Yes AD Greg Byrne also tested positive. Barron Trump too although seems he didn't even know he had anything, zero symptoms.
October 15th, 2020 at 7:28 AM ^
2 of my coworkers tested positive in july. A 24 yo latina and a 50 yo male hispanic. The young lady lost her smell and taste thats it. The male hispanic had mild symptoms. I had all the symptoms except the cough and sore throat. Around the 10th day after my first symptoms I tested negative with the swab test of my nostrils. Im 59, heavy smoker and dont exacty eat the most healthy of diets. Been in commercial construction in florida for over 35 years. Physically strong. I must have been tested after my viral load had all but dissapered. I interact with the 50 yo at least an hour day as our desks are 8' apart at the most in a bullpen office set up with 7 others. No one else tested positive in the office or any of our field employees. What would be the odds I didnt have covid like he did? I should have got tested for anti-bodies just to know for sure.
October 14th, 2020 at 5:56 PM ^
Found the likely culprit...
October 14th, 2020 at 5:57 PM ^
Make sure Pete gets tested ASAP.
But seriously, hope he gets better fast.
October 14th, 2020 at 5:57 PM ^
Get well soon, Coach.
October 14th, 2020 at 5:57 PM ^
That deal with Aflac's actually gonna come in handy. Feel better coach!
October 14th, 2020 at 9:46 PM ^
Good luck squeezing those shekels out of Aflac, Coach!
October 14th, 2020 at 6:00 PM ^
Something something Lane Kiffin.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:01 PM ^
Seriously, get well soon Saban.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:08 PM ^
No shit. He's no spring chicken
October 14th, 2020 at 6:56 PM ^
Honestly - he's actually in the age where this could be a bit of an issue for him and the chances of him at least being hospitalized are decent. Hopefully he gets through it quickly and without issue.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:01 PM ^
Nothing to worry about.

The SEC got their protocols from Andre the Giant. Get well soon coach.
October 15th, 2020 at 2:22 PM ^
Following this advice doesn't help either once you get the COVID.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:03 PM ^
he's going to be 69 in a couple weeks... probably not the birthday present he was hoping for.
I can only hope he and everyone that contracts it, doesn't spread it to anyone else...and gets over it with no lasting effects...
October 14th, 2020 at 6:07 PM ^
Nice.
October 14th, 2020 at 8:15 PM ^
I had no idea he was that old!
October 14th, 2020 at 9:21 PM ^
Still too young to run for President!
/no politics
October 14th, 2020 at 6:03 PM ^
I don't wish this virus upon anyone. Get well soon Nick.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:07 PM ^
Good, because if you had wished for it, you'd have a lot of questions to answer right now.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:23 PM ^
What about Hitler?
October 14th, 2020 at 7:40 PM ^
He also has a lot of questions to answer.
October 14th, 2020 at 11:31 PM ^
If Hilter contracted COVID-19, my first question would be. "hey didn't you die 75 years ago? What the heck dude?!"
October 14th, 2020 at 6:06 PM ^
Rough time for your coach to get Corona right before playing Georgia’s defense.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:10 PM ^
That's not good. Isn't he 68?
October 14th, 2020 at 6:11 PM ^
Get well soon Coach.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:12 PM ^
SEC had to play football. At what potential cost?
October 14th, 2020 at 6:15 PM ^
100+ lawsuits sometime in the next ten to twenty years
October 14th, 2020 at 6:18 PM ^
This GIF is just gold. It says so much.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:13 PM ^
I wish Saban a full and healthy recovery.
But also, this was absolutely predictable and yet another hole in the "let them play" crowd who crowed about how players and coaches would be more insulated from contracting C19 because of the testing and the teams' abilities to isolate those involved.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:15 PM ^
Wearing a mesh mask for his game last week should tell you how seriously he took this whole thing
October 15th, 2020 at 8:51 AM ^
because masks are the answer. as all the people proclaiming them test positive.
October 15th, 2020 at 9:57 AM ^
Yes, dude. Masks are in fact, the answer (real masks, not a bandana, or gaiter). But they only work if everyone participates. I'm sure you knew that already.
October 17th, 2020 at 2:02 AM ^
I mean, good point.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:25 PM ^
Sucks as a bellwether for prospects of getting in a B1G season. There have to be multiple Bama +‘s at this point on the team.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:34 PM ^
How can Alabama field a team until after 4 days of testing ? I mean there are going to be other positive tests in the program that develop over next few days given his widespread team contact. If I was Georgia this game would get postponed because I would not trust Alabama at all.
October 14th, 2020 at 6:43 PM ^
October 14th, 2020 at 6:50 PM ^
Whole program gets tested Thursday ... stay tuned.
October 14th, 2020 at 7:42 PM ^
My guess is Bama Testing Guy deliberately won't do the twirling.
If you get THAT reference, congrats, you've been reading MGoBlog carefully today.
