So I guess we are in a place in our society where Nick Saban gets to free time to beg America to let Alabama please be in the playoffs. WTF?

At one point I thought Saban himself actually felt awkward with how sleazy that whole segment was, but then he kept rambling about how they would be favored over everyone else so they should be in.  Fuck that guy, and fuck Fox for that gross interview.  Also, can we go back to 3 hr games please?

I hate Ohio but no way do I think a two loss Alabama should get in over them

But even if Ohio is somehow disqualified, in what universe is Alabama more deserving than Tennessee who beat them, and who beat LSU (who beat Alabama in turn)

The Tide beat fucking nobody.  Kansas State would beat them.   Utah would beat them.   They aren't that great.

This is the first year I've felt the old BCS National Championship format would actually be the fairest option. Georgia and Michigan are the only ones who deserve a shot at the title at this point, everyone else had a chance and blew it.

Yup and instead of that they're gonna tell Michigan to beat Ohio State again, a first in the history of this game.

UGA will get TCU to all but guarantee their slot in the title game.

 

Hard to beat anyone twice, let alone a team as talented at OSU. Hard to imagine they'll let a team that sat at home jump not one but two spots but I honestly think that they're going to do just that. Id say I'm 75% sure of it. Will be surprised if they don't.
