Why do I get this feeling that some concept artist at Adidas was tasked simply to do their worst to Michigan this year? Yikes, the shorts - it's like someone decided the theme was punctuation and chose the slash when clearly they should have gone with semicolons all over the shorts.

Those shorts are awful. It looks like the Oregon Ducks wings on the side of their helmets. I sure hope these shorts are burned and thrown to the trash. Absolutely awful.

There must be a rule that says you have to tuck in your jersey, but the kids don't like that. So we show up to the arena with the jerseys untucked. The refs say, "come on, boys, you know you have to tuck those in." The players do revealing the tire tracks on the shorts and the refs, horrified, quickly allow the team to untuck the jersey.

I was on my way to posting similar sentiments.
Totally agree... it's an excuse to play with the baggy jerseys hanging low.
But I wouldn't be surprised if the subtlety of these obnoxious shorts was missed and the negative feedback undermines the strategy.
