New "Away" Uniforms... A possibility?
Looking over some videos on MGoBlue.com, especially the one in which Doug Karsch interviews the old school "Equipment Guy," I had the feeling our Away Unis might change. It was mentioned that the new head coach (RR) would have a say in any changes and how he meets with the coach at the end of each season to discuss possible modifications. Anyone think this might happen in the near future? Blue pants, perhaps?

I have no particular attachment to the aways. Spice it up a little, but nothing too jazzy.
Homes, on the other hand, may not be touched.

the simpler the better with unis.
i say go back to white jerseys maize pants for aways. looks classier. i hate way nike and vt jersey types look. keep it classy.

I think it would be cool to wear maize jerseys with blue pants for away games. It's not like we need 3 first half time-outs anyway.

That would be horrible. Have you seen WV w/ their yellow jerseys? Minnesota did all yellow and that was terrible. Home jersey's shouldn't be touched, always wear maize pants, and i think the more simple the better for away jerseys. I liked the latest Nike ones we had but do not like the Adidas version w/ stripes on the side.

I said nothing about changing the home jerseys.
I, for one, liked WVU's yellow jerseys and wouldn't mind seeing us bust some out on AWAY games.

Sure, you want to tweak a few things, here and there, fine, and call me boring if you want, but I don't want our color schemes to look like anyone's but Michigan.
However, i could live with blue pants and the standard white jerseys.

With like wolverine claws slashing thru the back of the jersey and red blood dripping out of the gaping wound. The front could have a hologram of a cartoon wolverine stabbing the shit out of the opposing team's mascot.

I could definitely see the all-white look coming back, since we've done it before.
I don't think I would mind White-Blue either, but it's hard to say from those pictures.

The yellow jersey with or without yellow pants are both terrible. Who really wants a ketchup v mustard look when we travel to the Horsebarn to play thee Ohio State? Blue or white pants with white jersey would be fine - still looks a little Penn State. What's wrong with what we're wearing now? We ain't Oregon...

Actually has some history to it. In some films on Michigan football from the 50's there is White on White. I think the way white on white looks on Penn state looks sweet. If we could incorporate some maize and blue onto white pants, i think that would look solid.

For the record, we have done the all-white look before. It's really not all that uncommon to slightly tweak the away jerseys either.

i'm just opposed to the black and maize jersey talk. I just don't want to turn into one of those schools who starts using their uniforms as marketing gimmicks.

Blue pants on white jersey look good. I hate when teams do white on white. I don't want to see UM ever do that.
