Is MSU the best team in the Big Ten?
October 16th, 2010 at 10:03 PM ^
I don't know if they are the best team but their coach is better than ours! Neg away and it will be funny how all you ass kissers change your tune once Harbaugh is our coach.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:06 PM ^
To bad that won't happen. RR has at least one more year if we win one more game and just imagine our team when we field this same team plus depth and more experience.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:08 PM ^
In order to get experience you need to keep your players from transferring before they become upperclassmen.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:16 PM ^
Also, I doubt Harbaugh would take the job here with the current state he has Stanford in.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:26 PM ^
He has clearly been trying to get this job. Before the Oregon game he spoke about a conversation he had with Bo about how Bo asked him if he ran an offense with a full back and a tight end. He was clearly taking a shot a Rich Rod. He also likes to go for two even after he has destroyed a team. Think he might be doing that to get some notice from the Michigan nation? He would take this job in a second.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:37 PM ^
I highly doubt he was taking a shot at Rich Rod, you are reading way too much into that. Looks like you are having a good night though, stay classy.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:42 PM ^
I am having a good night since TP and OSU laid an egg. My afternoon on the other hand was not so good.

You + Are = You're
October 17th, 2010 at 1:30 AM ^
Some of us choose not to use contractions...so stop bitching about the grammar.
October 17th, 2010 at 2:37 AM ^
Contractions are optional, and are more popular in speech than in writing. In fact, it is more proper to write without contractions. You're an idiot.
October 17th, 2010 at 9:47 AM ^
what? Your does not equal you're.
October 17th, 2010 at 11:42 PM ^
I didn't notice that the contraction referred to was in the subject line of the post. I was looking elsewhere.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:53 PM ^
Bringing up the Oregon game was a great point in his favor...
October 16th, 2010 at 11:25 PM ^
How is it a good thing that Harbaugh wants to rub a big lead in someone's face? I get much more satisfaction in straight-up beating somebody than I do rubbing my superiority in their face. Going for 2 when up big is an ass move.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:07 PM ^
That I donated one of my MGoPoints to neg you.
I'm not sure where that MGoPoint went, but I hope it's Mott's Childrens Hospital.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:11 PM ^
Whoa the almighty point. Do you realize how pathetic it is to have a ton of points? You must be on the computer all the time. No way you every played college football and actually know what your talking about. Its time to start listening to the posters with negative points, they are the only ones without dicks rod up their ass.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:16 PM ^
Just shut up. I listened to all of the irrational fans all game I don't need to hear you complain even more. Rich Rod didn't miss tackles or throw picks. Thats the players. A coach can only do so much. Now shut up and go away.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:23 PM ^
You are correct. He didn't miss tackles or throw picks but he did sign and teach the players that did. Use your head!
October 16th, 2010 at 11:10 PM ^
I was unaware that coaches around the country teach kids to miss tackles and throw picks. Thanks for pointing that out. A coach can only do so much. The rest is up the guys on the field. Unfortunately at this point those guys are 2-3 years younger than just about all the guys they are going up against. Until you realize this you are never going to be happy no matter who is coaching. Coaches don't teach experience.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:37 PM ^
I am very educated which actually means nothing in this case. I played college football and I actually know what the hell I'm talking about. These kids are busting their asses but they are not being put in a position to succeed. I am sorry but if you know about football you could not say they are well coached. It pains me greatly to admit this but it is the honest truth. Be careful with all these blind following homers on this blog. It is clear that very few of them have spent any time near a football field. Playing video game football does not count!
October 16th, 2010 at 10:52 PM ^
Where'd you play? Still coaching? Prove it.
October 16th, 2010 at 11:35 PM ^
He has still yet to prove it, me thinks he's a great big phony.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:51 PM ^
Never a mod when you need one...
October 16th, 2010 at 10:11 PM ^
Ill give you one so you can keep negging the jumpers.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:34 PM ^
Ha -- I donated seven of mine (one for all of the lame posts).
Sometimes I miss MLive. Not really.

I am a bigger Michigan Fan than you will ever be. You can be a fan of the coach but you sir are not a Michigan fan if you continue to tolerate this sloppy mid level coaching. Now you go away!
October 16th, 2010 at 10:22 PM ^
You sir are a douche.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:29 PM ^
You know that video game football doesn't give you real knowledge of actual football.
October 16th, 2010 at 11:05 PM ^
That would be you, mestaba. That would be you.
October 17th, 2010 at 12:12 AM ^
I kick ass at Techmo Bowl.
October 16th, 2010 at 11:39 PM ^
I am taking a football coaching class right now in college. Does that give me any knowledge?
October 16th, 2010 at 10:21 PM ^
Can I get a.....
BANHAMMER?
October 16th, 2010 at 10:32 PM ^
Pathetic! Your as useless and uninformed as Geaux Blue.
October 16th, 2010 at 11:39 PM ^
Dantonio is a good coach, but the media has hyped him to the point where it helps with recruiting. From the announcers at the MSU game today: "Dantonio is known as the Dean of Discipline, which is quite ironic since his teams lead the BigTen in penalites" - he could also say in plea bargains.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:03 PM ^
Eh... I'm not really that concerned. They're a good team, but I don't think they're good enough not to slip up somewhere before the end of the season.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:05 PM ^
Right now, I would say they are. I'm not even sure they're going to go through the usual second half collapse either.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:07 PM ^
In a word... no
October 16th, 2010 at 10:10 PM ^
in three words.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:14 PM ^
not dem brahs
October 16th, 2010 at 10:09 PM ^
they could lose at NU next week. They were down 6-3 against Illinois at half today. But yeah, my greatest fear is Dantonio pulling an Izzo.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:11 PM ^
and that's the only thing that counts.
GO BLUE!
October 16th, 2010 at 10:12 PM ^
I think they probably are.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:15 PM ^
They will lose a game or two this season, just like everyone else in the Big 10. They might still win the Big 10 by record, but I still think OSU, Iowa, and maybe even Wiscy (at least at home) are better.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:18 PM ^
Either them, Iowa or Purdue. The numbers are the numbers. Michigan State being successful has very little to do with what is going on at Michigan except for 1 game a year anyways. So look at their hot start in a positive light. Couldn't be more proud of the growth taking place with Little Bro.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:23 PM ^
Did you really just throw Purdue in there as part of the best team in the big 10 discussion just because they are 2-0? Would like to know your thoughts on Purdue the next two weeks as they go to OSU, and Illinois.
October 16th, 2010 at 10:25 PM ^
Did you pick Purdue because they beat the two esiest teams on their schedule? Because while I think Northwestern will be a decent squad, Minny is a trainwreck. Let's see how they look in a couple of weeks.
