I go to a dozen MLB games each year and not to brag but I have pretty awesome seats. They are just above and behind 3 rows of advance scouts. Behind home plate. About 40 seats reserved for scouts. These guys track every pitch, by every pitcher, and every swing or non-swing from every batter, - via clipboards or I-Pads, or laptops. I'd imagine a team like the Yankees has about 50 of these guys on their payroll deployed around the country.
Somehow these are things I've never heard of before - cheeseburger violation, advance scouting violation. And I watch a shit ton of football. Next thing they will investigate Michigan for not having the visiting locker room painted masculine enough.

Assuming this turns into a nothing-burger, I am loving this.
1. Michigan returns to being the most vilified school in the B1G.
2. If the players had any issues being focused and motivated, now they got it, with a healthy amount of disrespeckt thrown in.
3. And this type of snitching is what makes college football so dang fun in between games. Them SEC boys complain about each other in the regular season, then make up in time for the bowls.

Unless a disgruntled former coach/staffer/player made the complaint, the complaint was initiated by another team. Think about it. If other teams are so defeated, scared, confused, desperate, or simply just suffering from born-on-3rd-base disease, that they're now crying "cheaters!," we have them. We've kick their asses on the field. We're in their heads. Rent is not being paid. And now we have extra motivation because our integrity and skill are being challenged.
