Wow we all needed this!  It's cathartic after all we've been through.  Go Blue!

This very young team did many little things right (to overcome several bad things) to beat a pesky opponent. They will learn from this too, unlike what we saw at the Big House this year.

I love these kinds of character wins.

Beilein just trolled Altman for a win. Efficiency, my ass; there's a bunch of kids who don't know what the hell they're doing out there. And Donnal may be a skilled offensive player, but he's an absolute sieve on D. We're going to struggle with big teams until at least March. Doyle, yes, but who's the 4? Bielfeldt?

Great win. Clearly still getting comfortable on offense, guys are still getting to know one another. Gone is the creativity from last year--the backdoor cuts, the alleyoops, the I'm-dunking-this-ball-on-this-drive-no-matter-what. I think those things will come with some more time. Loved the Caris drive-and-kick call to Irvin at the end.

In particular, I want to see Caris, Irvin, and some of the freshmen going hard at the rim when a lane clears. Chatman pulled up and missed a 18-footer when there was nobody between him and the rim--you gotta make the decision right there that I'm dunking this ball dammit try and stop me.

That was a game that we won because we're winners. Awesome to see, especially after enduring a football team of losers for the past three months.
