Michigan State lands verbal commitment from WR Kyle Kerrick
Michigan State gained its 7th commitment when WR Kyle Kerrick verbally committed today. Kerrick is a 3 star on both rivals and scout, and is rated the 72nd WR on Scout. Michigan was not targeting Kerrick, and he is the 6th 3 star commitment for State in the 2012 class.

This is also being reported on rivals and scout
Mod Edit: Not OT and more relevant to Michigan football/sports than most of the front page posts. That said, have fun with the national profile MSU.
And people were saying that Sparty really wasn't a national recruiting power - they're starting to really flex their national muscle with the 72nd rated receiver in the country . . . .
Love that MSU is tapping the East coast. That is where they have to go. Midwest first and East coast second imo. Not a whole lot of competition in the East coast besides ND and PSU imo.I don't think they understand where the East Coast is.
to challenge your assumption Coatesville, PA wasn't near the East Coast. It is apparently near New Jersey, but more importantly...if you google 'near coatesville new jersey' the first few hits are all related to Russian escort services. That's OT in an OT thead, but just FYI
Say what you want about the Jersey Shore, but I'm sure Gorilla Juiceheads would make excellent linemen. If only they could pass the steroid testing.
Too much competition for Sparty. If the players want to wear orange, they'll probably just pick Syracuse.
I was gunna make a thread, but then I realized it's not a big deal at all.
Is it sad that I always got excited to see the black squirrels everywhere when visiting my grandma in Holland, MI? It was a highlight to the trip.
+1 to you
Please add an "OT", to the front of the title. Thank You.
This thread is not OT material:
is on-topic.
Doesn't the FAQ say that posts related o other B10 teams are technically "on topic"? I don't care either way, but it'd be good to know for sure.
Anything regarding future opponents is on topic.
What justin said isn't even an opinion. It's reciting the rules of this very blog. This thread is not OT, and what justin said is in no way flamebait.
Indeed, why can't all the post's complaining about perfectly acceptable discussion material be labeled 'redundant'.
are you seriously so stupid that unless there is an OT in front of this title you cant figure out what it means? shut the fuck up
scared me thought it said Kyle Kalis at first. my heart dropped for a sec then I remembered that Ohio is too close for Sparty's national prowess.
I thought the same thing
who?
Homie, this is OT.
No, it's not. Read the FAQ.
I guess...good for them? This doesn't seem really worth a post, since UM didn't really recruit him at all.
QB Blackburn to Toledo. Not worth its own post.
Good to hear that the young man from crockett will be getting a UT degree.
As a UT alum, sounds good to me. Tim Beckman is doing a great job there, and I expect to see him at a BCS school sooner, rather than later.
I don't know if they meant they'd get good players nationally, just that they'd get players from around the nation. Who cares if 247 hasn't even rated him yet, he's from not-Michigan.
Move along- Nothing to see here
We could've learned about this in the next Big Ten Class Rankings post.
And not a single fuck was given.
The iPhone app won't let me moderate you, so here's a verbal +1. I already gave all my fucks on the Kalis decommit / incumbent visit.
I give even fewer fucks than this.
Just pointing out that State landed another "blah" recruit. They are piling up the 3 star talent. This is such a big deal for State that their "media friends" are running it as actually being newsworthy.
So you are saying that East Lansing has been taken over. The Three start mafia is setting up a few networks?
/s
I am sure that not many of us, care about who state lands. I appreciate your efforts, sir.
Why does this need to be pointed out? Are we doing this for ND? or OSU? no. You tried to bring finger pointing lulz and nobody here took the bait (thank God).

They've beaten us 3 yrs in a row and people are still trying to find a derp, however dumb, to throw at them. Really valuable post when they go 9-3 and UM goes 7-5.
WAIT, MSU WENT 9-3?!?! WHAT YEAR IS THIS?
To my prediction this year.
have seen from Michigan's secondary lately... all wide receiver recruits concern me.
I love how you're making fun of them thinking this is newsworthy and you started a post about it. Stop doing that.
baffle me in their incongruity. Congrats to the young man. Hope he can break away on routes from snuggie bear, or whoever that wisconsin CB was with the awesome profile pic.
Sweet. In other such big news, my cat just yawned.
Congrats to Kerrick.... MSU is a powerhouse
The FAQ said other Big 10 team news was on topic.
Key word is news. This is not news
YES, but don't you see ? MSU got an in state kid ! We didn't get them all after all ! This is a HUGE State victory ! He could have gotten in to UM but went to State ! ( that is if his SATs were high enough he could )
My experience has been. You either get into U of M, or you go to State.
who got rejected from UM, I challenge your assumption. Unless, of course, you wish to expand to what State refers
reread the title of the thread, and ask me the same question again.
