Michigan fans are getting a new pair of Michigan shoes for the end of summer and for the start of football season. I think the women's colorway is a lot better than the men's and if were to get these, I'd probably grab the women's colorway in 1.5 sizes up. Can confirm that that these shoes are really comfortable. I would like to hear people's thoughts on the Michigan shoes Nike has been putting out since 2016 because personally I've been pretty underwhelmed by the models they're using and the colorways which have seemed pretty lazy

the Jordan’s have been pretty dope.  I’ve been pretty lucky and been able to get my hands on the PE psny 12’s, the 3’s and a game worn pair of d. Walton’s 31’s.

Women’s are not only a size and a half down but a B width where men’s are D width. Unless your foot is narrow I would probably not get the women’s to wear just for the color.

Yep...  I know everyone has their thing, and that's fine.  I mean, god knows I've got things most others don't care about.  But mine are practical, IMO!!!  I just have trouble paying hundreds of $$$ for a pair of sneakers you'd be scared to get dirty...

EDIT:  At $130, these seem like the going rate, so not so bad...  The collector versions that go for $300+ was my main point.

What’s strange about that one is the shoe tongue was supposed to have the M logo on it instead of the Jordan picture. I have emails from them from the beginning of the year showing the shoe made w the M. Something happened and they changed it and they also moved up the release bate by almost a month. Really wanted that Block M

I agree, that gray is sweet. I won't buy the shoe though. I can't make myself spend over a $100.00 on a pair of non leather shoes. I just can't do it.

Needs a Block M and an Amercian flag. But the later would be too controversial since we live in America.

What relevance does anything flag related have to do with these Michigan shoes? Flag humpers are not more patriotic; they just put their emotion into the symbol of the country and not the ideals it represents just to feel superior to those who wear their values in their actions towards diverse Americans. And according to loud mouths, liberals hate America—and Michigan, and Ann Arbor, is as liberal a university as there is.

But, if you want a pair of flag shoes, there are some cool Saucony Kinvara 10 Old Glory versions and some Brooks Old Glory, too.

Plenty of running companies make special o es for July 4th, etc.

I also like the women’s one better.  Not a fan of an all navy shoe with a black sole. Very disappointed with the Michigan shoes that have been released to the public under this contract.

Yeah you won’t have to create a new SNKRS account to grab these.  Mostly Jordan’s get the hype as far as our Michigan shoes go the last four or five years.  These are ok, I guess.

I have bought the 12’s and 5’s and the Dunk from Aboves. I wish they would release the 11’s to the public. Because to be honest w you the rest of these are trash and look like someone grabbed a paint brush and just marked them up. North Carolina, Florida and Oklahoma’s shoes are definately looking better then the crap we have been seeing. And yes the women’s shoes have always looked better because they are simple and classy.

Is it just me or are shoes massively overpriced nowadays? Yeah Jordan's were always expensive around $150-200 but it seems that every show that slaps a Nike logo on it is selling for $100.

These are nice but no way are the $130 shoes.

Personally, I would only ever buy these shoes or the Jordans as a novelty/collectible. I do like this colorway and think it's very cool. If they were minimalist shoes (zero drop, no cushion, wide in the toe box, super flexible), I would absolutely get them. As it is, Nikes have always run narrow for me (even when I was a runner in high school 25+ years ago) and I just no longer enjoy wearing shoes with a significant heel-toe drop.
