Michigan Michigan St ABC coverage map

Submitted by chad on
Working down in Puerto Rico the next few weeks on disaster relief and not sure I'll have internet coverage this weekend to stream the game. Does anyone have a map of where ABC will be airing the Michigan MSU game Saturday? Really hoping I'll be able to pick it up in my hotel.

*Disclaimer-As stated below I only mentioned working in Puerto Rico as I know this is a tough crowd and wasn't looking for the typical smart butt responses on why I can't find a game in the year 2017. Also Puerto Rico has a strict 7pm curfew so unless you're working directly with federal security no one is allowed to work past 7pm. Believe me I would if I could.

College football is on so many channels now that it seems like they don't really do regional coverage anymore.  M/MSU is ABC's only primetime game on Sat. So if you get an ABC affiliate, and they're showing college football, it will be M/MSU.

It's national; all of ABC's primetime broacasts are national.

Occassionally, they will do mirrors with ESPN2 for Noon and 3:30 games, but it's becoming more infrequent.

If you can tune into any ABC affiliate, it'll be on. The regional coverage (sometimes ABC/ESPN2 will flip games in different markets) never happens for night games.

Not a humble brag just know what a rough crowd this is and had I not put my disclaimer in there I would've had a bunch of smart butt comments on why I can't find a game in the year 2017. Lol I doubt I'll have good enough cell coverage to stream the game so hoping I'll be able to watch it on the hotel tv (if I'm not out in the field working).

I’m sorry, but the thought of you taking a break from Hurricane Relief to catch the game made me laugh out loud in front of a bunch of people in line at the grocery store.

There are exceptions to it for certain workers (health care, rescue, etc.). Not sure where OP falls, but it effectively shuts down much of what can happen (for example, going to a bar).

The logic is that it doesn't put stress on the already-strained resources if everyone is inside. The Virgin Islands did the same thing. Not saying I agree with it (frankly I don't know enough about the pros/cons), but that's the reasoning.

It’s the primetime game so it will be shown it is the only game on ABC at that time slot. Btw, watched Game 2 of the NBA finals in Puerto Rico this summer at a bar. Really cool experience and good sports fans down there.

As others said, it is Saturday Night Football, so it will be on ABC everywhere.

Many thanks for your relief efforts! Great to see the MGoBlog community being represented in Puerto Rico right now.

Isn't the island still like 95% without power? You think the satelitte dishes and cable will be working? You may be counting your chicks before they hatch. And they usually post the coverage map online a few days before... good luck.
