coming up shortly on CBS
This list is completely arbitrary and not a genuine analysis of the relative merits of state fossils.
My guess is it will be 60 minutes of talking about how difficult it is for smaller programs to compete against athletic powerhouses such as Michigan and Alabama.
903 wins most in college football
It's going to make us look like a football factory.
"Forty-two Big Ten Championships!"
People on the old side here might remember a Today Show visit to UMich many years ago. So long ago that Jane Pauley was the co-anchor (/host) with Bryant Gumbel. Anyway, the show also featured Brown.
It appeared to me at the time that they were painting UMich as more of a generic "State U" than a Public Ivy. Our profiled first-year student was a hick from rural / semi-rural Michigan and Brown's was (of course) a well-spoken Philly Main Line specimen.
"..."
I was in the MMB, which was up REAL early (esp. for college students) to be in uniform on the steps of the Grad and performing occasionally. Willard Scott had a bunch of Fijis in togas or something helping with a weather segment. And they contrasted UM's band with Brown's, which is much more like Stanford's scatter band.
New uniformz?? (fingers crossed so we can all watch major freakout)
D'oh, seems we're the last segment.
Michigan Resurgent? Michigan Resurgent!
The beatings will continue until the uniforms improve!
Look in the promo they managed to turn Navy Seal leadership training into "look at this poor kids being worked full time in the off-season". I. HATE. EVERYTHING.

I already don't like this. I never thought I'd see an opportunity to train with them as a horrible thing. Heard nothing but positives from players and coaches about that trip
If you spell Crisler like the car company you should hand in your fan card before the next meeting.... Same goes for Ferry Field
the blond doing the drug traffiking piece is hot
60 mins chick is sexy
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
We are a football factory, but we also have academics which most other powers Alabama, LSU, Florida do not have.

not having editing rights. They're going to take quotes out of context too.
"Forty-two Big Ten Championships!"
Is there a reason we agreed to this?
Go Blue!
Do you think they will talk in-depth about monkey rodeo?
I think the recruiting and exposure is why we agreed to it. I am going to pissed if it turns into a Michigan bashing fest.

I remember a tweet from the guy that did the piece (back when he did the initial interviews) had nothing but good things to say about Hoke and Dave Brandon.
At U of M yesterday for upcoming 60 piece on big time CFB. AD Brandon and HC Hoke at head of the class when it comes to it.
Is going to be Tosh.0!
"Forty-two Big Ten Championships!"
Off topic - our B1G/ACC opponent #6 NC State is currently losing to unranked OK St by 15 with 8 mins to play. ESPN2
Edit- 20 pt lead for OK St with 3 mins left. Damn. Would have been nice to have them undefeated when we play them.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
I love Cheerios!!!

This infant research piece is very intriguiing. Personally, I believe the early results point towards the belief that humans have a genetic basis for a basic sense of morality (taking out any early conditioning the infants experience).
Watching 60 minutes for the Michigan report, but fascinated by this peice on baby morality.
THOSE WHO STAY WILL BE CHAMPIONS
Can someone do a study on puppy morality? I refuse to believe my 6 month old has a bad heart...even as he's pissing all over the wood floors
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
Here we go.
They showed the part of the student section that was empty right before kickoff!!!! freakout!!!
The Michigan Difference. Oh yea, it is real.

In a positive light!
"Forty-two Big Ten Championships!"
Horrible business model. That's for sure.
"Ohio is like a giant turd that Michigan just can't pinch off"
I was sure the sentance "Saban is at the forefront of another escalating trend in college football" was going to end with "paying players"

Saban coming off like an Ahole. Standard
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
At least they didn't show us getting blown out
"Ohio is like a giant turd that Michigan just can't pinch off"
Cal spent $300 Million to upgrade their stadium? I remember not long ago, the alumni were livid when the school lowered its admission standards for athletes.
That's insane for a school that can only get 60 something thousandpeople per game
"Ohio is like a giant turd that Michigan just can't pinch off"
Hopefully CBS doesn't unleash 60 Minutes of unnecessary roughness on us.
