Michigan Baseball playing at Dodger Stadium on 3/5
I just found this out while going through and making a schedule for the upcoming Michigan Baseball schedule.
Michigan will compete in the Dodgertown Classic from 3/3-3/5.
3 games, 3 stadiums all in LA in 3 days.
- March 3rd: at UCLA (9pm EST)
- March 4th: at USC (9pm EST)
- March 5th: San Diego at Dodger Stadium (2pm)
Just a heads up for you West Coast Wolverines.
We've played in a few MLB parks recently. Wrigley, Comerica, Citi Field.

That is awesome. Will definitely try to make 1-2 of these games.

How could you forget winning the 2015 B1G championship at Target Field?

I just took that one for granted I guess because it wasn't a regular season game.

Be there !!! Been raining here for 4 days. Reminds too much of AA.
Bring the sunshine boys.

To be fair, we do mix it up now and again in southeastern Michigan - it was two days of dense fog and mid-50s, but today begins the rain and by Wednesday or Thursday they are thinking snow again. It's really kind of rare to get just one form of precipitation for four days straight here, especially in the mid-late winter and early spring.
I imagine you don't miss it even at that, of course.

I think Dodger Stadium is one of the few sports venues that lives up to its reputation. Great place to see a game ...

Do you mean its reputation as an ancient, concrete hellhole that is impossible to get to on game day? If so, I concur.
Go Giants!

Opinions of Giants fans on the sanctity of one of baseball's cathedrals are invalid. Sunsets at Chavez Ravine are not to be missed and I have never had a problem getting to the stadium to watch California's best baseball team play a game.
Go Dodgers!

that's exactly what it is. And I'm just a Tigers fan in LA totally unbiased towards or against the Dodgers. I wish the stadium were better, but it is not.
The setting is gorgeous, the stadium is very bad.

Yup, and we played 4 games at Hawaii last year and will be playing at Hawaii every other year for a series.

plays in a very weirdly located stadium on the West side of the 405, campus is to the East. Jackie Robinson Stadium. No roof over the stands, so bring sunscreen.
USC is right on campus and has a practice putting green located directly over the center field wall.
Dodger Stadium is cool, haven't been there in a couple decades now. I imagine it feels pretty old next to some modern parks.
Great trip, would love to do this.

I saw this! Incredibly hyped! I went to see them play the Dirtbags in Long Beach a couple of seasons ago and it was a blast for me and my boys. Sat next to one of the coaches moms for UM, which was great and chatted about the new coaching regime.
What about the game on Wednesday the 1st? Also says it's in L.A. Anyone know about where Loyola Marymount plays ball?

has a stadium right on campus. South side I think.
