They stand to lose nothing by letting him choose. Worst case scenario is he doesn't sign with Miami, which would also be the worst case scenario if they allow him to make his choice and don't "tell him to go pound sand"

read the last sentence of the linked article. He is trying to figure out where he wants to spend the next 3-4 years of his life. He is NOT tyring to make you think more or less of him. I know that is probably weird to you.

Brown is a difference-maker on the field. I would save one scholly and keep recruiting him. For that matter, even though UM was apparently never in the picture, RR should be calling him and telling him UM is still a great place to spend his next four years. You never know when a kid will suddenly develop an affinity for "snake oil." Is the kid a diva? Probably. Would I want him on my team? In a heartbeat. You have to give a kid with that much talent a chance to mature.

Go tell the best RB recruit since Reggie Bush to "pound sand." Brilliant, dumbass. In the meantime, OSU should probably tell Pryor to fuck off for making them wait so long last year. Fucking pre-madonnas. As in, before they were Madonna. Which is what Pryor and Brown are. Those pre-madonnas. Who care about where they want to attend college. But they didn't do it on the day you'd like them to, even though that day is arbitrary, so they suck balls and are malcontents and will never be team players because of this. Carry on, dipshits.

I wonder how many of these people that are bitching about Brown not signing his LOI wanted Rich Rod to pull the offer from Big Will when he decommitted and then pulled his antics at the Army All-American Game?

once every week or so, and people on there were saying things like "we only want people who want to be here." It's an utter joke, just like the people who stopped wanting Terrel Pryor because "if he can't make up his mind now, how's he going to make up his mind on which WR to throw to"

While I never worried about Big Will, Big Will did de-commit. Brown didn't. Of course, there's more to the story than what we are hearing because obviously there is something that Bryce doesn't like about Miami, but Big Will didn't put on the type of theatrics that Brown is now doing with his "advisor" etc. And exactly how much time should a kid have to make up his mind? He gave his verbal to Miami over a year ago. You telling me that in that time he hasn't been able to figure out what's best for him? Maybe it has more to do with recruiting issues such as things that aren't typically legal.

"And exactly how much time should a kid have to make up his mind?" How ever long he needs. "Maybe it has more to do with recruiting issues such as things that aren't typically legal." That is quite a heavy assumption.

And exactly how much time should a kid have to make up his mind? The NCAA allows him to mull his decision until the final enrollment date. He's entitled to every second of it. Signing day is not a requirement - it's merely the first day kids are allowed to sign.

I understand that Shannon is a discipline guy who may want to show his team that no one player is the bigger than the team. So I see where he is coming from especially since he is a verbal commit. But I also see Brown's side and the monumental decision facing him. If he's dragging if out for attention, well that's his problem. But if he is actually just torn on what to do then let him take his time.

Huss-Your Pryor comparison doesn't hold water now dude. I bet if sweater vest knew then what he does now he would have told Pryor to "pound sand" to set a precedent. Then these guys would know better than to pull these stunts with him. Pryor was easily one of the biggest disappointments from the previous recruiting class. He was rated top in the nation.......To bad suckeyes!

All I know is THANK GOD we picked up youtube sensation Sam McGuffie - I know that 1,800 yds and 30 TDs for a freshman is unreal, but hurdling Knowshon Moreno hurdling over a CMU player was just the icing on the cake. BTW - nothing against McGuffie - the kid played his heart out and I wish him the best. Still, figured if we were living in an alternate reality, I might as well share mine from last season. nice avatar pic.

Sure, it's annoying. I'm not arguing against that, unlike the people fighting for their right to post vague topics. But multiple users have picked that same avatar now (right? Or at least I thought I remembered seeing it happen multiple times now, was it the same person?). I'm just suggesting that a better solution than chasing everyone that picks the same popular picture as an avatar would be to use a picture less likely to be picked by some n00b. Which has already happened.

You gotta take it easy, I have had this picture as my background for the last year and merely chose it out of convenience. I had no idea you had such a claim to it. I am currently looking for a new picture and will change it once I find one I like.
