mgopoints
Can someone explain to me how this works? I have lost like 300 points in the last few days, and like 70+ in the past 20 minutes, though none of my posts have been negged or anything, so I am seriously wondering, and I know it's sacreligious to you people for asking, so forgive me, though I am seriously wondering on how much longer till I'll have nothing, and thus, won't be able to post. If anyone can help me, that'd be great ... to everyone else, I am sorry this post upsets you so greatly.
Every community needs posters of pictures and videos. Those like yourself are no less valuable to the community than serious and substantive posters. Because, at the end of the day, this IS just a website. One of my favorite things about this site are the consistent posters - good and bad (unless they are a-holes). The Bolivian posters are almost as good as the consistently good posters.
I have an additional topic on this, when moderating comments, there is a score associted. Has anyone been able to see a score over 5 or below -1? I know points aren't actually being added yet to total MGoPoints, but I enjoyed being able to see posts that generated 20+ more points, now all the good posts seem the same. This is never more evident than here but this is also a reason to get the comments fixed (going back to check this post I see that you cannot see the score and he is now negative, but he had close to 200 upvotes).
Frankly, this new system SUCKS.
Is there any way to start an MGoUprising and revolt?
i'm against picketing, but i don't know how to show it
That is the cause of the uprising in Libya, Egypt, and Syria !
Maybe if we found a way to cave front-page posts.
Are items of social currency that used to have value but have since become of less worth, kinda like the American dollar, MySpace friends, and stories about Jim Tressel's honor.
as part of the transition to MGoEuros.
Why are my posts not showing up? What did I do? Somebody help.
But I still enjoy reading mgoblog! So even if I continue to slide towards Bolivia, I will still be here reading the blog!
I liked the old point system better and like money you earn, mgopoints should never expire.
The points don't matter at all, the only thing they effect is your ability to start a new thread. Don't worry about them. And if they mean that much to you, you can have mine.
I'm in MGoPoverty!
email the brain cook, tell him I said you could have my points.
triple post
part of my Mgoblog triforce today. Oh the humanity
The best iteration of MGoBlog was two versions ago.
I suggest that if you find a comment particularly posbang-worthy, but you can no longer vote up, invite the poster back for an encore comment.
Continue to aid the ruination of MGoBlog.
Man, I hope Brian is proud of his message board these days. It is surely something to which any five year old kid can now be a major contributor. In fact, probably one of the best.
