Given the incident(s) are from 1.5 years ago and the investigation has been going on for almost a year, I think Sparty is looking for a way to have the guy exit with a severance and bury it. The timing of his "indiscretions" was after the glow of an 11-2 season, with win #2 over JH and a win at home vs. PSU. No way he leaves w/o getting at least 10-20 million in severance. He's going to have to pay an ex-wife soon. Lord Acton's saying - absolute power corrupts absolutely - has been proven again. Tuck commin' got incredibly arrogant.

What's next - Deion coming from Colorado? Stranger things have happened.

yuck Tuck, WTF?

So her claim is that he violated her by forcing her to stay on the line against her will?

If he hadn't admitted to it there is no way this sticks (pun intended).  But now that he admitted to it, she may have a case.  I'm not sure.   Maybe she can claim he retaliated by cancelling the business relationship once she refused his sexual advances?

Either way, he's done at MSU even if he wins the legal case.

I read that Staee can get out of Tuck's contract for conduct that "would tend to bring public disrespect, contempt or ridicule on the University."

It's pretty difficult to bring what was already there.

Someone commented that he could see this happening given they talked on the phone 27 times and it was probably a flirtatious relationship. Whether that’s true or not, masturbating on the phone is not a natural or normal outgrowth of a flirtatious conversation without the other person being aware of it. I think some guys must think it is (see Louis CK). It’s not a welcome surprise from the woman’s perspective. It crosses the line into a place of unwelcome intimacy, and harassment.

What do you want to bet that “a complete and deliberate failure to abide by Title IX” has something to do with MSU’s inability to find a permanent President???

The school has known of this for over a year. The findings and recommendations were already presented. And yet…

MSU knew about these allegations since March, and USA Today broke it, is that correct?

I think an investigation period gives you some degree of cover, but since March?

I'm wondering if MSU has to fire all of their upper level people yet again.
