This may have been asked, don't have time to read through all 4+ hurricane/game threads.  How does a last minute start time change affect game preparation?  Is the weekly schedule different for a night game than a day game?  Seems like they'd want to make some adjustments for lighting, temps, daytime schedule, etc.  If no change in preparation, this change would seem to heavily favor Michigan.  Thoughts from the MGoCoaches on the board?

Only effect the time of day in which they prepare for the game. Noon kick means the team will be up at 6-7 am and prepping rather than 10-11 am for a night game. I think this situation favors Michigan considerably as the luster of a night game for Maryland players and fans will not be same for this rain ravaged noon kick. I do think that the team was scheduled to head to Maryland around noon tomorrow, but now I think they will leave tonight. If not they will be cutting it close with walk throughs on Friday and game day prep.

Seems to me day games are better for the road team, given that in an unfamiliar stadium, the visiting players, especially the WRs, DBs and special teams guys might have problems adjusting to the stadium lighting.  Plus the home crowds are usually less jacked up for a noontime starting game as opposed to a night game.

Not sure where else to post this, but I am no longer making the trip.  Have two nights reserved at the Marriott in College Park.  15 min walk to the stadium.  fri/sat nights.  $250 a night.  If anyone is interested, let me know, and I can add you to the reservation for check in.

My friends and I were going to go to the game wearing blue ponchos. We were planning on painting them with G-O-B-L-U-E in maize, but I thought I'd ask the board about which maize to use. Would yellow stand out more? please list the correct color hex code so that I don't mess this up.

I'd recommend sticking with a slightly 'orangish' yellow (truer to maize) if possible, but you should be safe going all the way up to a full 'safety' yellow (or "highlighter" around these parts). Just be careful not to drift at all into the lime green, that will start to look very weird.

And don't stop there... you can also use an official UM font called Dispatch for the shape of the letters:

... Design your ponchos with #EUTM

What are my options if I can't view the live broadcast now due to a golf outing? I do have a smart phone, and digital cable w/ DVR. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shows Joaquin Center to past closer to Bermuda than the Eastern Seaboard.  The European prediction models tend to be much more accurate than the U.S. models.  The center of the storm will be almost 1000 miles SE of  the DC/Baltimore as of Saturday evening.  It is predicted to follow a path NE out to N. Atlantic sea lanes

I have a ticket for sale if someone wants it. Four of my buddies are driving in from Detroit area and I can make the earlier time. If there's any interest I'll post the seat details.
