Manny Harris' Big Night

Submitted by bnagy05 on

Leading scorer of the game, Manny Harris with 27 points. Also added 8 rebounds and 2 assists. With Varejao out for the season, look for Harris to step up.

... would get a shot with all the injuries, wouldn't that be something if manny starts more games than evan turner this season?

EDIT: I just noticed manny also started last night, first career double double; 16 points 10 rebounds.

Between Manny's success in the pros and the practice facility coming up, two big negative recruiting points against our program are going by the wayside.

As a Cavs fan I've been hoping to see him get more PT since the season started.  He's a shooter and the Cavs don't have enough talent on this team to justify keeping him on the bench.  I remember when Boobie Gibson finally got a shot to play how well he responded, hopefully Manny does the same.

I am currently undergoing shock therapy to kill that part of brain that holds the memories of sports from 2010.  Seriously, I am emotionally strung out from this past year so I don't know how much more of this CC shit I can take.  I was very happy to see Manny do so well for the Cavs but at the same time I couldn't help think about how I would have rather those points and boards go towards UM's game against Kansas.  Sigh.  Where did I put that car battery?

Since he wasn't drafted, is Manny on a shorter term deal than most rookies?  Would be nice to see him get a shot at a nice contract a year or two out of the gate by proving he can do it in the league as a rookie.

I've always thought that Manny Harris would be a better pro than college player.  The NBA rule is made for Manny's game especially the fact that there's no hand checking and the space is wide open for Manny to drive through.

Much like the moral victory for MBB tonight, this is a moral victory for Manny Harris. The Cavs have lost 10 in a row (maybe more?). It's a sad time to be a Cleveland sports fan.

With th previous thread on Carlos Brown and now this, some former Wolverines seem to be on a little roll.  Hopefully, this is just the begining of more good news to come.
