Nebraska last year is the game Denard got hurt and it was finished by Bellomy. That game is why you don't put Morris in this game.

I think you have to give morris a shot. We have no chance of moving the ball at this point. Gardner is scared out of his mind. He has been pressured relentlessly and coached to not do anything if pressured. He needs to watch from the sideline to see that he wont get killed playing football---which he apparently now believes.

Unless the interception happens 20+ yards downfield, than yes it is almost always worse to throw a pick.

killed if you put him out there behind this o-line. Henne had a o-line thatw was 100X better protecting him.
Also are people in their attempts to rip Gardner apart, forgetting that he still only the equilivant of a true sophomore in actual playing experience at QB. Who just happens to be playing behind a god awful o-line, and only has two viable WR targets to work with.

Six quarters without a TD. Three points in a half vs one of the worst defenses in the country. But I mean, what a relief that at least we don't have one of those gimmicky modern offenses that leave their defense on the field too often after putting up 35 points in a half in a barrage of big plays.
