Lynn Henning Picks Sparty
So, here's the score, even as a head still shakes over a spread I utterly can't believe: Michigan State 45, Michigan 28.

if he wanted to put his $$ where is mouth is, no way we lose by 2 touchdowns
October 7th, 2010 at 2:15 PM ^
Couldn't agree more.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:05 PM ^
Wow I completely disagree, but then again who gives a damn what the MSM says?
October 7th, 2010 at 1:36 PM ^
No offense to anyone here named Lynn (which means an offensive comment is coming), but I cannot take anyone named Lynn seriously. Especially this d-bag Lynn Henning.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:05 PM ^
We don't need to know every fucking prediction by every media outlet!

What does Obama think the score will be?

What about granholm!

Predictions mean nothing let's just let the boys on the field decide it.

Enough
October 7th, 2010 at 1:09 PM ^
He also likes our chances against tOSU and contemplating a new cabinet post for Denard (i.e., Secretary of Awesomeness).

October 7th, 2010 at 1:18 PM ^
is it that off topic?
you don't think that it is interesting that this guy picks sparty in a blow out?
not even a tiny bit?
granholm...really?
a sports writer for one of the newspapers in the largest city in the state... his opinion is not interesting to you, even in passing? really?
obama? really?
predicitons won't determine the score? really?
I am an idiot for posting this? really?
really?
October 7th, 2010 at 1:23 PM ^
Not even a tiny bit.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:26 PM ^
You will learn that there is a small sector of people in this community that freak out anytime anyone posts, or mentions, game predictions.
However, for some reason, these are the same people that thrive of predictions of recruits, pre-season rankings, and pre-season prediction for 2-deep, transfers, position changes, coaching moves, bowl projections, etc.
Which is basically everything that is college football.... excpet the games themselves. Which make up 13 of 365 days a year (if you are lucky).
So, Negative Nancies... if talking UM predictions is so Off-Topic, then you should follow your own bitching-rules and only post on the UM Live-Blog during games. Everything else is useless speculation in either "what could have been done" or "what can be done."
The other option, of course, is to ignore posts/subjects that annoy you. But you can't stop yourself from being heard... can you?
October 7th, 2010 at 1:27 PM ^
Would do a better job than henning look at how well he did on his final four bracket.

Look at granholm she gave a no hitter! Her opinion clearly matters more than henning.

The point is that these are opinions by people who don't know jack shit.

Their opinions don't mean a thing, don't effect the outcome of the game and are a waste of putting up on this board.

If we posted every fucking prediction that is all that would be on this board.

In sum: stop it!

Do you know what a paragraph is?
October 7th, 2010 at 3:22 PM ^
October 7th, 2010 at 1:44 PM ^
Chuck Norris says Michigan wins by 4 touchdowns. Oh, he also says that Denard will land a massive Hooh Kick to the helmet of one Greg Jones, rendering him unconscious and useless. Rather than being ejected, the officials will applaud Denard's multi-faceted game and call a personal foul on Jones, insult to injury.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:59 PM ^
Obama thinks that the team that's winning should have to give some of their points to those disadvantaged to not have enough points.
32-32 tie.
October 7th, 2010 at 2:09 PM ^
+1 to you sir

October 7th, 2010 at 2:16 PM ^
I have a friend that has a cousin that is from DC that said President Obama is growing dreads just like Denard in order to intimidate opposing defenses.
October 7th, 2010 at 2:59 PM ^
His prediction would only be off by a few trillion.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:06 PM ^
I can't believe it. Lynn Henning likes SPARTY?!? When did this start happening?
/s
October 7th, 2010 at 1:06 PM ^
Then we can pick up the Earth and drop it on their heads...
October 7th, 2010 at 1:06 PM ^
I hate that man/lady!
October 7th, 2010 at 1:07 PM ^
Lynn Henning's opinion is meaningless to me!!!
October 7th, 2010 at 1:07 PM ^
He's obviously a Spartan fan. So, in a tossup he is going to go with his favorite team. Not that surprising. Let's just watch the game on the field.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:08 PM ^
Who?
October 7th, 2010 at 1:20 PM ^
Exactly.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:10 PM ^
Who gives a shit. Lynn is not worth enough to lick the dog shit off of my running shoes.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:14 PM ^
You have dog shit on your running shoes?
Are they in your house?
October 7th, 2010 at 1:24 PM ^
is how much would he need to be worth to lick the dog shit off your running shoes?
October 7th, 2010 at 1:16 PM ^
Oh Sparty slap Henning, how confused are you of the way vegas works? While he remains stunned that MSU is not a 14-21 point favorite, I ask him to explain to me how 95% of the bets are going to MSU, but somehow the line has only been bumped down to -4.5? Looks to me that the wise guys are laying massive bets on the good guys. They don't set lines to go bankrupt Lynn.
While we are at it Lynn. I am still aiting on Cale Iorg to be that regular fixture at the MLB ALL-Star game that you promised us.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:58 PM ^
Hey, a guy can hope, can't he?
October 7th, 2010 at 1:14 PM ^
At least Henning has the balls to pick something besides "it could go either way, but I'll take X over Y 38-35."
But, he forgot to factor in Cousins' three ints on the day and UM's blocked punt that sets up a first and goal. And Lewan getting away with holding all day. Oh, and Baker's 45 yard TD run being called back for an illegal block in the back. So, UM 38-35
October 7th, 2010 at 1:15 PM ^
This is the part I'm most excited(?) for. You can't take the thug out of a Spartan.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:29 PM ^
that we can stop committing them ourselves. Two "crack back" blocks in one season. I had to f#%king look it up to even see what it was for crying out loud.
Those kind of things are such drive killers.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:14 PM ^
I'm going to go crazy in the next two days, I just know it. You can find me Saturday afternoon in row 83. I'll be the guy with a fistful of hair in each hand, arms folded clutching my stomach, rocking back and forth uttering nonsensical phrases recounting why we might win and why we might lose.
By the end of the game I'll either be in a state of utter euphoria or dead.
October 7th, 2010 at 2:01 PM ^
4 fistfuls of hair?
October 7th, 2010 at 1:16 PM ^
"Fraudgers"?
October 7th, 2010 at 1:42 PM ^
Even by the standards of supremely retarded derogatory name perversions, that was supremely retarded.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:42 PM ^
Yeah, what the hell is that? I wish people would stop trying to come up with clever names for other teams. It never works, and everyone just looks like idiots.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:59 PM ^
He relishes in seeing the Badgers being proven as not really that good.
October 7th, 2010 at 3:27 PM ^
Doesn't make it OK.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:16 PM ^
prediction I have ever seen. A Michigan State blowout victory is the only outcome that I personally guarantee will not take place. A Michigan blowout I could see, I do not think it is going to happen necessarily, but I could see a scenario in which it did. I could also see a close Michigan win, and also a close Michigan State win. A Michigan State blowout win on the road in the Big House means that Michigan completely sucks and that Michigan State is very-very good. I already know both of those things to be false. If Michigan State wins, it will be by 7 points of less - I would bet the house on that.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:18 PM ^
Really 17 points? I would love to take him up on that bet.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:18 PM ^
i guess because he lists two schools and two numbers, that counts as a prediction.
October 7th, 2010 at 1:19 PM ^
Sparty has a lower to date SOS, than Michigan. One win at Home vs. a Wisco team that might lose another 3-4 games this year.
also I dont know who this woman is, but Gary Barnett told me she is terrible.
