Kid needs to stop eating so much tasty "MeatChicken." --- I think that's what he said via Twitter anyways.

It looks like he's playing that game where the ladder is land and the grass is lava. He lost.

the freakin ground rumbled!

Haha the guy measuring reacts like a meteor is about to strike.

This is how you react to a meteor

stone cold. Damn meteors and their stupid distracting glare.

Now that he is not with ND, I kind of like the guy. Maybe it has something to do with how really big guys are pretty amusing.

He was a very good sport the last time MGoBlog poked fun at him with the whole "I can fly" thing, which makes him cool in my book.

I predict we will see a LOT more of this GIF in the days and years to come. Some things are just destined for internet immortality.
This is awesome on so many levels.

So glad we don't have to play this guy again...
February 24th, 2014 at 1:00 PM ^
...still better than what I would've done.

but that 330 pound dude does an 8.5 foot standing broad jump. Clowney apparently runs a sub-4.5 forty. An NFL field must be a very very scary place.
February 24th, 2014 at 1:23 PM ^
Louis Nix does not fly terribly high - his vertical at the combine was 25.5 inches - but yeah, 330 pounds of human being that can run a 5.42 second 40-yard dash and still manage a 97-inch broad jump is probably a prospect that some might find....intimidating. Actually (not that this means a whole lot for NTs, of course), of the 40-yard times in the books for the DL group now, Nix has the second slowest, and that broad jump was the third shortest in his position group.

I'd want no parts of that. Hell, Taylor Lewan is 6'7, 310 and runs a 4.8. I'm not sure if 10 people on this entire blog could run a 4.8.
I know we say it every year but "these guys are putting up freak like numbers."

I run a 4.1, bench 700 pounds and maintain 2.1% bodyfat.
I am also Batman.

I'd have my wife time me to prove I could still crack a 4.8, 40 at 40 (years old that is), but I know she would be slow on the trigger:
1) Because she would think it ridiculous I'm doing it for the blog
2) Because it would be ridiculous I was doing it for the blog.
3) Just to prove I am older than I think and actually can not crack 4.8
4) To rub it in my face while I am laying on the ground with two torn hamstrings, a twisted ankle, and a sprained knee.
And that video of Nix is pure gold.

I got us for the bench press at 25 reps at 225 lbs, unfortunately I run a fast 7 second 40 yard dash.

of his press conference at the combine and wish him good fortune. His answers were awesome. I remember one along the lines of "If they want me to get bigger I will, if you want me to get sexier..." and almost snorted out my water.
Also, I didn't know he heard of the jokes about him flying, major props for being a good sport about it.
I don't know if many of the people here on Mgoblog think about this, but at the end of the day, we are all human and I fear that the comments we make about individual athletes might hurt them. While yes they are public figures and as such as they are out in the spotlight and so they will get more attention than I did while at college, I hope that any negative attention they receive doesn't adversely affect them. I root for Michigan in all athletics (focusing primarily on football), but don't want to unnecessarily and cruelly bash athletes from MSU, OSU, or other schools. I shudder to think of what I would have felt receiving the comments I see at many sites (MgoBlog is much better than many other fan blogs, in my humble and biased opinion) Of course, they also may have tougher skin than I had when i was their age.

at 4.87 out of high school.
that was 10 years ago, and I am not too bad out of shape. With training I could do it.
