U of M DOTA 2 Collegiate StarLeague club team finished 2nd in the nation last season. Nearly pulled off the upset in the finals before falling to the repeat champions and heavy favorites to repeat this season as well.
dota 2 is similar to league of legends but more difficult and complex.
DeMar Dorsey is back in the mix. He finished his first year of college this winter and has a lot of time left in school.

The eSport scene is blowing up.
The Iternational (dota 2 equivalent of world championship) held in Seattle's Key Arena (former home of the SuperSonics) every year is expected to have a prize pool of 12-15 million dollars. The winning team will take home nearly half of that. The tickets for this year's TI5 went for $99 and were sold out in 6 minutes.
I fully expect the finals to be aired on the ESPN network. Last year's grand final was on espn360. I anticipate the couple days events prior will be on 360 with the grand finals on espn2.
The level of interest in the major news networks, particularly ESPN and fox sports has exploded this past year. They are at most of the major events to conduct interviews and to learn the games. I assume they are doing the same with League of Legends and the others.

There are plenty of kids that dont sign on NSD and are going to still be availible. If they still are looking to fill 16-18 spots and only 10-12 sign on NSD, there are plenty of options and a lot of schools that we would compete with out of the question as they had already filled their class on NSD (or over filled in some cases.) These may not be the dynamic 4/5 star type but I have faith on this staff to fill the class as they think they need to by the fall

When they left they didnt apologize or make any effort to to even mention what they had left, but there was around a $25,000 bill (rumored down through staff) worth of damages.
Ceiling fans ripped out of the sockets, holes in the walls, wood floors destroyed, feces and vomit all over the condo, the plates and glasses were all shattered, the beds were destroyed. The condo had to essentialy be rebuilt. I had photographs at one point and if I find them I will post them here, but I couldnt in the short search I did during this post. I was embarassed for them but I felt even worse for thier parents.
I feel the need to ask who the people are that are raising kids today that actually think things like this are okay to do. It is quite sad actually.
I made it home safely after celebratory drinking to the beginning of my 29th year of life. I have a little bit left of this bottle of buffalo trace. This news made the home stretch worth it!
