The dude has to have lock jaw the way he was slobbering all over Justin fields and anything OSU did remotely well. He has gotten more and more bias as the years have gone on.

You and Roy G Biv may be right, that "could of" was a clever addition to the conversation. It wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong.

But because I have been on MGoBlog a while, I know that mistake of using "of" instead of "have" is made regularly.

P.S. My response might be considered clever too, at least for those who know movie history: "What we of here is a failure to communicate." (Just watched Cool Hand Luke again the other day.)

Hah, very funny Matt, fuck Kirkie Boy, he's become such a little, whiny bitch.

I've always hated him being the color analyst, his voice is awful and so hard to hear compared to Fowler.

Hey Kirk, the co-eds don't like fat old men!  Have a couple "choice" words for you:

a. Weight Watchers

b. Slim Fast

c. Jenny Craig

Now go to your Pope Urban shrine and wipe away the last tears.

I started watching in the 2nd half, but i think he does a very objective job.

It is almost like he goes out of his way to analyze/pump the other team to overcompensate for the fact that he is an OSU homer IMO.

Herbstreit seems like a decent guy.  I don't really care to mock him.  But I don't understand why ESPN assigns him to OSU games.

Because he is their #1 along with Fowler.  Griese gets assigned to Michigan games sometimes.  I have no problem with either being assigned to their alma maters as they both amazingly stay objective.

Like it or not, Herbie is one of the faces of college football.  It's fun to make fun of him sometimes, but I have always liked him and I think he is deserving of his top role.

I agree - I like Herbie...I also agree that early in his career you would never know he had any ties to OSU, but the last few years he doesnt seem to hide his affection for them as much, but either way I like him and Fowler...commence countdown to the 2021 season....let the BPONE flow through you all.
