Then Harbaugh gets the trophy, an opportunity to shake the commissioner's hand, look him dead in the eye, and tell him to "go fuck himself."
I firmly expect Michigan to win the injunction, if not today, definitely next week. But even if that doesn't happen...just win.
Go out and dominate and let people know about it. Who cares at this point. Stay focused and own it. Bad Boys.
JJ, Blake, Kris, Mike, Rod...this is their moment to leave a legacy that may NEVER be topped. There will be Heisman's and Championships, but this? This is an opportunity to move next to Harmon, Woodson, Howard. Maybe not individually, but collectively.

The thing that angers me most is that this is basically the only outcome in which Michigan can look halfway good. Lose any single game, and the idiotic, yet predominant narrative will be: “See, they couldn’t win without stealing signs.”
And I am so angry about it because it now comes down to the 18-22 year old players to solve this for the adults (myself included!). Give ‘em hell, boys!

It’s worth noting that while this is the most completely outrageous thing I’ve seen in a lifetime of watching sports, it probably has minimal impact, because most coaching is done during the week. The PSU line has moved a half point. The national and conference title odds have not changed. Just win, baby. And my god Petitti’s face if he has to give us the trophy is going to be the best thing I have ever seen.

That’s all I’ve been thinking about for the past hour.
The sheer motivation this team must have now, and especially Harbaugh, to go and win the Big Ten just so they can take the trophy from Petitti and make him squirm under a never ending parade of boo’s until he is booed out of the stadium.

I respectfully disagree. Two points;
1) Most head coaches have what I'll call an Xs and Os component and a motivational component. While they all have some of both, most are weighted to one or the other. I would describe Jim as a motivational coach. He will be missed on the sidelines.
2) Whoever assumes the HC duties will necessarily have to dilute his attention from his positional duties. That's not good.
I know we managed it for the first 3 games, but the stakes are much higher here.

If Michigan emerges from the other side of this and wins the Big Ten, dare I even say goes and wins it all, it’s not unreasonable to say they will have earned the right to call themselves the greatest team in Michigan football history.
But at the end of the day, we need to remember these are 18 to 22-year-old kids put in an extremely high pressure and unfair situation. If they fall short and you feel even the slightest inclination to curse their names over it, ask yourself: do I really, REALLY think I could’ve handled that pressure any better than them?

I actually would go full pro wrestling style and immediately throw the trophy in the trash in protest like Shane Douglas did with the NWA World Heavyweight Championship belt when he instead chose to wear the ECW title. He said at the time that he refuses to wear a title belt of an organization that died.
