JUB says Wheatley has accepted the job

I can't post a link from my mobile device, but check JUB's twitter feed...No surprise, obviously, but good news nonetheless. For example, Sam Webb said today that he thought Wheatley would make a difference with Weber's recruitment (though not necessarily swing it Michigan's way).

Glad Marrow returned to UK.  Don't care how good of an Ohio recruiter Marrow is, I'll take Wheatley over him any day.

Wheatley's NFL playing and coaching pedigree will get him in any door that Marrow can get in and more.

to see all these guys come back. Go Blue!  For the OP it was also confirmed by Sam Webb. Not that I don't trust JUB but Webb is the go to guy for all things Wheatley.

JUB has admin connects.  wheatley is webb's source.  makes sense that wheatley has downplayed with webb's help because who wants to show up to an interview with rumors swirling around that one expects to be offered the job?  a guy that shows up to a red robin wearing a suit is one that respects and honors the hiring process.

I'm really excited about this hire. I think he'll be a great running back coach and will and will avoid making unrealistic comparisons about his running backs.

#6 is coming home.....the closest thing Michigan has had to a Bo Jackson type thoroughbred RB. A threat to take it to the house very time he touched the ball
