JT wristbands
I didn't see this anywhere, but I know all of you will have lots of fun with this one!
Here's the link--> http://kegsneggsblog.com/2011/08/03/ohio-state-players-honoring-tressel-with-jt-wristband/
The school is made of idiots. If I were them, I would ban any mention of Tressel at least until NCAA sanctions come down.
Tres was a great teacher. He showed them one major life lesson: to most people, the ends justify the means.
I'm pretty sure if I was a player on that team (especially an athlete who only played once or twice) I would not be honoring the person directly responsible for having my entire season wiped out.
But what about a player brought up from the scout team his senior year or whatever? When he goes to tell his kids about his college days, what's in the record books? Nothing, thanks to the guy they're honoring.
Usually comments sections are awful places but this had me LOLing.
"The should all get tattoos of a sweater-vest."
I wonder if Sparty will don these wristbands since Tressel is viewed as a Tragic Hero in their neighborhood. Did anyone notice those 2 things dangeling from Dantonios chin? Yeah those are Tressels balls.
Too bad Tressel didn't get a chance to bounce his nuts on Hoke's chins.
No your right......he'll have the dillusional buckeye fan base though.
Maybe you can learn something here.
This is a toilet:
Not this:
This is a also toilet bowl:
about games being taken away. They will only care that the NCAA is seemingly going to let them off with only a wrist slap. The rest of the college teams will then build nice firewalls around their AD's and will let the rampant cheating begin.
On a related topic... does anyone think Dantonio talking about Tressel as a tragic hero is him trying to ingratiate himself with OSU? I can't see it working, but I really can't see why he would say something like that for any other reason.
it. Tressel is his idol and mentor.
Was a anatomy of a hc seeking another job else where...while interviewing for it live.
Oh! You weren't the only one who observed that...
They should make slap bracelets instead. That way, they're an ode to both JT and the NCAA's penalties.
Oh Snap!
On top of it all they're ugly as hell, they seem to be made of a tractor band or something, yikes
WHO knew the tosu football team was such big fans of Justin Timberlake?
Coming up on WCMH NBC 4 Columbus’s local news leader.
Ohio State players honoring Tressel with “JT” wristbands;
Also why is traffic up at local Tattoo shops?
And look at the cool stuff we found on e-bay some nice autographed “JT” wristbands.
because he cheated. He cheated, then lied to cover it up and left it all to be viewed in electronic format to remove any doubt. How in the world does that make him worthy of the reverence? That fan base is something else.
I was a huge Step by Step fan, also.
They should get team tattoos.
sweatervest in a show of solidartity, during the upcoming season, for his*tragic hero*....
If the present head coach should lose his job,at the end of the season...I want this guy to get it!
+1 for butchering Dantonio's name, proving that some M fans still don't give a shit about them.
fallen coach? When did Jim Tressel die? Seriously. Being a member of the military, hearing anyone who wasn't killed in action (military/police/fireman/citizen who died helping someone else) being referred to as "fallen" makes me sick. Just friggin sick. This is seriously one delusional fan base. I know we already know it, but just when you think it couldn't get any worse, they get worse. Unreal.
jail time
Lie.
i think it should read:

EJG beat me to it!
Most Ohio State fans and probably almost all of their players and recruits loved Tressel and many of those folks still do.
It isn't surprising that people are willing to forgive their coach who went 5-2 in BCS games, won a national championship, seven Big Ten titles or co-titles and beat their rival nine out of 10 times. High school coaches loved Tressel, his competitors mostly liked him -- heck, even Brady Hoke says he likes and respects Tressel.
So why does everyone act surprised that Buckeye fans and players still like him. He screwed up. He paid for it with the job he loved.
You'd think that would be enough for Michigan fans. I don't care if Buckeyes still admire Tressel. I know that I always felt he was a better coach than Michigan's coach was, that he knew how to run a game plan and handle game strategy better than Carr and Rodriguez, and that he was a better recruiter than the M coaches too.
He's gone, and that's good for Michigan. He owned Michigan, but now he can't beat us anymore. Forget him and worry about whether we can beat Fickell.
