I am really thinking hard on this and...I believe I also did too. We used to so readily beat MSU and OSU when I was young, that I didn't really consider them a threat. So I would root for them both, even the Irish, up until we played them. They win then it gives us a better resume was the logic.
Now the whole system is changing. We won't need to win all games, we won't even need to boost our resume. The B1G is enough competition each year and we should get multiple team (up to 4?) in The playoff annually. So no need to cheer for politics and rankings. Just Michigan on an Island. Go Blue.

That was peak Sparty No, too. Dropped snap on a punt, total collapse in the run defense, then failed to field a kickoff to set up the game winning score. Rutgers dropped a clean pick in there too or it would have been a more total collapse.

Then I read comments on RCMB of fans advocating taking out JJ McCarthy’s knees next week….and I just want those scum bags to suffer. As a sports bettor, and one that bets regularly on Michigan, I am always cautious when betting the MSU game. I think the line is probably going to be 20 points, maybe 21. Harbaugh's approach to this game has been to get in and get out quickly with a win. Escape without injuries. It's rarely a "pretty" win. I am going to tread lightly with my bet.

1) Playing teams from other conferences…
2) Playing in bowl games…
3) Playing against MSU, OSU, and Notre Dame.
But never, ever OSU or MSU during scenario 1 or 2.
