If I was in your section next to your fire rich sign the cops would do everything in my power to keep me from kicking your ass and tearing your sign. Support the entire team and staff for one effing game. Is that too hard to ask?

Agreed.

Some people support Rich Rod, others don't. I personally feel if the opportunity is there we should hire JH and fire Rich Rod, but seriously there is no reason for that sign. To go into a game with that pre-meditated sign is classless. Whether you support RR or not we all are fans of MICHIGAN. Support your team sir

Going to a bowl game just to hold up your "Fire Rich Rodriguez" sign is a pretty douchey thing to do.

It's not like you actually have an effect on the decision, so why be a tool?

Just root for the maize and blue.

in this day and age we have to take such remarks seriously. Yes, waving a "Fire Rich Rod" sign is the act of an classless jerk, but threatening violence is the act of a person not in control if their emotions.

the coaches are another story.  This team is bad and they are ultimately responsible.  The last GOOD game UM played featured Lloyd Carr on the sidelines.  Sorry if the truth hurts.

Neg away blind followers.  I'm done with these coaches, starting with GROG and moving up as the AD sees fit.  The special teams alone are enough to get RR fired, IMO.

One more thing too...a guy who travels to Florida is supporting the team more than you are from your couch.

that last good game was UCONN imo, not that they are national champions or anything, but we did rout them pretty well.

What Lloyd Carr games were so good?  The 90's were great but as long as I've been watching it's been pretty similar to this with a slight edge to Lloyd.

Don't you mean everything in their power?  I mean, how could the cops do everything in your power, unless of course you have no power?

The team isn't doing that great of job in providing a good reason to keep RR. The only thing I can say about the team is that they are definitely consistent in how they have played since the 2nd half of the season. The month off hasn't changed anything!

Note to all RR Lovers.  The rest of us have been paying attention to those  that have supported RR blindly at the sacrifice of the Michigan football program.  We all know you were RR fans not Michigan fans and we will never forget even after you try and jump on the JH bandwagon.  Lesson to be learned from all of this, Support the team, not the coach.

worse, instead of bringing signs to the game that serve no purpose, those fans could have stayed home. From the poor looking UM turnout, it looks like alot of fans couldn't even muster up enough support, to at least buy tickets and show up.

Maybe fans who stayed home, just like last year against  Ohio State at home, are the ones who need to support the team and not the coach.

And if she had been within earshot of me as I left (at the end, to the annoyance of my grandparents and dad who left with 10 minutes remaining), I would have nothing to say but a disdainful and sarcastic "Classy." I saw some nasty examples of terrible fans on all sides during this trip, and at this point it's not worth my energy and sanity to get involved.
