Michigan has scored a huge win on the recruiting trail.

On300 Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga Prep offensive lineman Evan Link gave the Wolverines a verbal commitment following a two-day unofficial visit over the weekend.

Link picked U-M over offers from Florida State, Kentucky, Miami, Penn State, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Wisconsin and others.

Yea, my comment was tongue-in-cheek.  PSU always recruits really well, but Frames Janklin can't really develop.  Outside of catching lightning in a bottle one year with Saquon, they've consistently underperformed.  OL has been particularly bad his entire tenure.

Indeed, insert Taylor Swift eye roll "okay" here. In fact, anytime I see someone lead with "insert blank, BUT" tends to raise that "oh really?" response in my head. It's bad writing at best, and also simply not an effective way of presenting an argument/point of view.

Vocab challenge: try replacing "but" with "and" in your vocabulary, it's tough to do, AND changes the tenor of your conversations. Are you really disagreeing, or are you providing an additional perspective, too? It's a one-word swap and is very help, especially when addressing conflict in personal relationships, work, etc.
