Of all the OPs, how does this one forget to include a link?

Michigan has scored a huge win on the recruiting trail.
On300 Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga Prep offensive lineman Evan Link gave the Wolverines a verbal commitment following a two-day unofficial visit over the weekend.
Link picked U-M over offers from Florida State, Kentucky, Miami, Penn State, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Wisconsin and others.

Always like to see an Oline commit with a Wisconsin offer. Good get.
Also Stanford!
Is it a negative that he had a PSU offer? Their OLines are always straight poopoo.
I always thought their players have talent but for some reason PSU just cannot develop that talent or it is their scheme. When a team is this bad for so long and recruit well, I put that on the coach.
As much as I’ll vomit in my own mouth saying this. Penn state isn’t a bad team. They just seem to underperform, which is ultimately on the coach.
Yea, my comment was tongue-in-cheek. PSU always recruits really well, but Frames Janklin can't really develop. Outside of catching lightning in a bottle one year with Saquon, they've consistently underperformed. OL has been particularly bad his entire tenure.

Apparently phrasing isn’t a thing any longer…

Wait, What???? Don't even go saying we got a commitment after BBQ in the Big House....
Here they come! GO BLUE!!

According to the 247 class calculator, adding him will bring our team score to 196.56, which will be right above MSU...

does that include the top 80 recruit they picked up on sunday? Best recruit so far for tucker
August 1st, 2022 at 11:04 AM ^
Until he decommits mid-season.
You been talking to Emil Ekiyor?
August 1st, 2022 at 11:06 AM ^
They picked up Jobe almost a month ago unless there was some other top-flight recruit who committed over the weekend.
August 1st, 2022 at 11:06 AM ^
The only one I know they picked up was an instate 2024 wide receiver.
August 1st, 2022 at 11:07 AM ^
I may be missing something, but I thought I read that recruit was for 2024 cycle.

Marsh, the WR? He's class of 2024.

Ah ok - just was curious. saw a lot of joy from that side of the fence between the bball player they got and this guy (for 24 i guess).

Impossible, because the internet says that Tucker has never lost a game and that Michigan has yet to win one this decade.
Harbaugh gets snark and shade for 10 win seasons and 3rd in the division
Tucker get $10 million
The Staee difference

Yeah. It is updated. We also have a Kicker in the class that they don't.
Tuck is killing it this year I’m good with this for now.

Really needed an OT in this class so thanks Evan!

FWIW (and not much at this point), that would put UM at 196.56 composite and #27...just ahead of Sparty, I think. EDIT: What rc15 said.

yea that OP aged about as well as an open beer in a hot car
Because of self-proclaimed patience. "I'm patient, but..."- Remember that other day when I was talking about the definition of irony...
I rolled my eyes as soon as I saw the words “I’m patient, but…” referring to an event that happened that day.
Indeed, insert Taylor Swift eye roll "okay" here. In fact, anytime I see someone lead with "insert blank, BUT" tends to raise that "oh really?" response in my head. It's bad writing at best, and also simply not an effective way of presenting an argument/point of view.
Vocab challenge: try replacing "but" with "and" in your vocabulary, it's tough to do, AND changes the tenor of your conversations. Are you really disagreeing, or are you providing an additional perspective, too? It's a one-word swap and is very help, especially when addressing conflict in personal relationships, work, etc.
August 1st, 2022 at 11:12 PM ^
As my father once told me, everything before the “but” is BS

Super local for me. Gonzaga in DC is a big sports school. We have to keep that DMV pipeline from this area going!
August 1st, 2022 at 11:03 AM ^
Soooooooo....they've had a chance to digest.
Nice get for the UM recruiting staff. Welcome aboard Evan!

Well, that escalated quickly...

Is the “sensitive content” warning from Twitter directed specifically at Penn State fans?
Well played.
And good God twatter - a Football Commitment is sensitive content?

Always nice to steal one from Frames. Welcome Mr. Link!
August 1st, 2022 at 11:06 AM ^
The BBQ did pick up a big recruit. There were a lot of debbie downers on yesterday's link.
August 1st, 2022 at 11:08 AM ^
Yeah, a nice pickup especially given the fact he was thought to be a PSU lean.

There are a few truly insufferable people who don't bring anything but down.
