and Alex Kozan.

So we're looking at Henderson-Keegan-Crippen-Zinter-Hinton as our starting OL. Let's get another Joe Moore Award.
December 17th, 2022 at 6:40 PM ^
More suggestive of Keegan and Zinter going pro in my opinion.
December 17th, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
Hasn’t Keegan heavily implied he’s staying for one more season? Zinter I see as likely going pro though.
December 17th, 2022 at 6:40 PM ^
Take Zinter out of that line up
December 17th, 2022 at 6:59 PM ^
I think this addition is signaling that Keegan and Zinter will toss there hats in the draft. They’ve been awesome I can see zinter in the 2-3 and Keegan in the 3-4 range. Which is a pretty sweet spot for interior lineman not named Steve Hutchinson. I like Karsen and Trente at tackle So I see a 3 man battle including Hinton at tackle for 2 spots. Henderson is Taylor made to be a pulling guard in this offense his tape shows him absolutely decking dudes on pulls across formation.
December 17th, 2022 at 8:07 PM ^
I would be shocked if anyone besides Persi ends up at LT
December 17th, 2022 at 7:25 PM ^
Do we know that Keegan and Zinter will be back? Hope I’m wrong, but it seems to me like they will be throwing their names into the ring.
Not sure what’s left for them to accomplish by coming back for another year, as far as their individual resumes are concerned.
December 17th, 2022 at 8:18 PM ^
I think Henderson could end up at guard. I think Barnhart is more likely to be back than Zinter or Keegan. At Tackle, you would have Barnhart, Trente Jones, Hinton and Persi to work with. Henderson could play either spot tackle or guard. Barnhart could even play guard. I think Keegan might be 50/50 on whether he comes back, and they have El-Hadi there. Center is going to be an interesting competition. Someone could move there if Crippen doesn't seize the job.
December 17th, 2022 at 8:51 PM ^
Would be shocked if Hinton starts over Jones
December 18th, 2022 at 5:38 AM ^
I would think that Barnhart is ahead of Hinton. He's played pretty well in major game action. Has Hinton played all that well? This is mainly a depth issue, I think, which is a big help.
December 18th, 2022 at 7:04 AM ^
I don't think Hinton beats out Jones/Barnhart
Don't discount Persi either. It's very conceivable that our best 6 linemen are Persi-Keegan-Crippen-Henderson-Jones-Barnhart
Plus El-Hadi. I'm pretty confident we'll have a solid line again next year. It's a wonderful feeling!
December 18th, 2022 at 8:39 AM ^
Yes, he was a 5 star but Hinton has not played well enough to this point to step into Michigan stadium and assume a starting role.
December 18th, 2022 at 1:39 PM ^
Hinton struggled. He is depth at this point.
December 17th, 2022 at 6:39 PM ^
JD,come on down!
December 17th, 2022 at 6:39 PM ^
The portal is going to save this recruiting year.
December 17th, 2022 at 8:19 PM ^
Maybe, just maybe, the coaches know what they are doing. The nice thing about winning on the field is they now have more weight behind their offers so they can pivot quickly if needed like this year.
December 17th, 2022 at 6:41 PM ^
I'm worried he might not qualify academically.
December 17th, 2022 at 6:43 PM ^
Grad transfer
December 17th, 2022 at 6:45 PM ^
I think there was an implied /s there.
December 17th, 2022 at 7:10 PM ^
Look up. There’s the joke.
December 17th, 2022 at 6:41 PM ^
HELL YEAH!!!
December 17th, 2022 at 6:45 PM ^
Tori was a weak addition IMO
December 17th, 2022 at 7:43 PM ^
I always knew Jessie Spano was a freak.
December 17th, 2022 at 8:07 PM ^
RIP Screech.
December 17th, 2022 at 9:05 PM ^
Yes, pour one out for him. He'll live on forever in my "Hello..." post gif.
December 17th, 2022 at 11:06 PM ^
Love to see him dancing to jail.
December 17th, 2022 at 6:42 PM ^
Wow, wasn't expecting this. At this point I assume we're for sure seeing some attrition on the OL, either through the NFL or transfer portal. But if you assume Hinton and Henderson have starting spots locked down, and then Crippen/Atteberry/Anderson at C, then you just need two of Zinter/Keegan/Barnhart/Jones/El-Hadi/Persi to be around next year for another great starting 5. Any more that return and our depth is just wildly good again.
December 17th, 2022 at 7:08 PM ^
Have to figure we’ll lose a couple guys, but hopefully it is all guys going pro.
December 17th, 2022 at 7:14 PM ^
Oh what a couple of Joe Moore's can do.
December 17th, 2022 at 7:40 PM ^
Most likely?
December 17th, 2022 at 8:07 PM ^
Most likely > More likely > Likely
December 18th, 2022 at 1:41 PM ^
Why would a struggling HInton lock down a spot? Dude needs a lot of work.
December 17th, 2022 at 6:42 PM ^
On balance, a big positive, but adding two likely starters through the portal will probably lead to more guys transferring out, even if the transfers in only play one season.

December 17th, 2022 at 6:42 PM ^
Again, Although it's been said many times many ways, Mery Christmas and all 5* lineman need to come to Michigan!
December 17th, 2022 at 6:42 PM ^
Amazing!
December 17th, 2022 at 6:43 PM ^
So at least 2 returning starters (Jones and Barmhart) plus 2 transfers who are starter level players.Add Crippin at center and you have another solid O- Line.Adding these 2 suggests 1 or both of Keegan,Zinter leaving.
December 17th, 2022 at 6:43 PM ^
This sounds pretty nice! Having played for David Shaw, Harbaugh knows exactly what he's getting for his OL. But I don't follow Stanford much - was Myles a multi-year starter, and how well was his play? I've no doubt he's a worthy player, but I have no idea how good he's turned out to be. Does anyone here know?
December 17th, 2022 at 6:50 PM ^
not much is kept on O linemen. He only appeared in 7 games this season so not sure if he lost his job or got injured. I'll dig more.
https://www.footballdb.com/players/myles-hinton-hinto0019
looks like an injury
December 17th, 2022 at 6:44 PM ^
This is huge! No pun intended; plugging him into the O-line is going to pay dividends...
December 17th, 2022 at 6:44 PM ^
Joe Moore U!
December 17th, 2022 at 6:45 PM ^
Wowzers! Literally and figuratively humongous!
Guess there aren’t any transfer credit issues with Stanford guys. : )
December 17th, 2022 at 6:45 PM ^
And we never got any type of HINT ON him wanting to come to Michigan!
December 17th, 2022 at 6:45 PM ^
Persi or Barnhart if he stays?, Gio, Crippen, Henderson, Hinton?
December 17th, 2022 at 8:10 PM ^
If just Zinter leaves: Persi, Keegan, Crippen, Henderson, Hinton
If Zinter and Keegan leave: Persi, Henderson, Crippen, Barnhart, Hinton
December 17th, 2022 at 8:40 PM ^
I think Barnhart sees the field in either of those scenarios. Trente Jones was also a starter before he was injured. El-Hadi will be in the mix at guard too. I think Hinton is a wild card and may not win the job at first. My most likely scenario:
Barnhart, Keegan, Crippen, Henderson, Trente Jones
Without Keegan: Barnhart, El-Hadi, Crippen, Henderson, Trente Jones.
Crippen is going to have to earn that Center job as well. The coaches may move one of the guards to center to compete for it.
December 17th, 2022 at 9:04 PM ^
I don't really see a scenario where Barnhart is LT. I think it's gonna be Henderson or Persi. Just depends on where they decide to put Henderson
