The best recruiting site-ratings - IMO - by far is the 247 Composite as it averages out all of the biases of the others - I believe ESPN, 247 and Rivals. The one I absolutely stay away from now is ESPN as it's heavy into the SEC bias - it's ridiculous.
I use to look at Rivals a few years ago but it's went the same way as ESPN - to the dogs, Strictly the Composite for me now when I want to look up or compare recruits or team averages-ratings
So you’re saying ESPN is dogshit but we should still let it be part of the composite? These seem inconsistent to me
What I'm saying is that they all have biases but that the Composite - NOT PERFECT by any means - balances the biases of the other 3 out and is probably more on point than the others.
Of course homers are going to use the service which gives their team the highest ranking. Just the way it is

Elite: a select group superior in ability or status to the rest of the group or society.
I would say top 4 among 120 two years in a row that is matched by only one other team is elite since it is a “select group”.
The on field product has absolutely been elite the past 2 years.
Bringing in top recruiting classes completes the circle and helps UM remain elite on the field such that the program is consistently competing at this level.
